The timer beneath the staircase goes to 0:00 while Julie is talking to the houseguests. The lights go out, then come back on. Julie is gone, leaving behind just her shoe


A red figure appears on the screen and tells the houseguests that without Julie and the relic to prepare for a night of mystery and chaos

Julie calls the houseguests and tells them to split into two search parties. Eight search for her, and the others go after the relic. The HG who saves her and the one who finds the reward will each get a game-changing reward

The first eight compete to find Julie

Riley, Vince, Amy, Ava, Lauren, Mickey, Zach, and Adrian

The houseguests will construct a bridge to go over some "lava". Then, they'll choose a door to open based on messages from Julie, some of which are faked by the mysterious red figure. The player who opens the correct door saves Julie and wins a game-changing reward.

HOH relic competition

The relic is hidden in plain sight. The red figure has created decoys. For the power of HOH to be saved, the houseguests will have to find the real relic. The red figure has left clues. Anyone who chooses the wrong relic will be eliminated.

Julie: Zach you won your competition by finding the missing host. Me. And you have earned a $10,000 reward. Jimmy, you secured your victory by finding the HOH relic. And restoring the power of the head of household. Because of this, you have been granted an extremely valuable reward. For the first HOH comp only four houseguests will be playing. And it is up to you Jimmy to choose those four competitors. It can be anyone you'd like, including yourself. I'll give you some time to get to know your housemates a little better as you figure out who you want to face off to become the first HOH of the summer.

Jimmy has one on one conversations and asks who wants to compete in the HOH competition

Zae, Adrian, Keanu, Ashley, and Vince seem receptive to playing

Adrian and Vince offer to give the comp to Jimmy.

HOH Competition

Julie: ... The winner of this competition will become the first HOH of the summer. ... This competition is called Destroy the Lair. Before each of you is a BB blaster that can destroy the mastermind's lair. Your job is to balance the cores on the BB blaster. Once all six cores are balanced, race to press down the plunger at the end of your lane. Once pushed, your cores must remain balanced for 10 seconds. The first person to do this will become the first head of household of the summer

Vince wins, and is the first HOH of the season

The mastermnd's lair is destroyed.


Julie informs them of BB Blockbuster, and that it will be a permanent part of the game this season

Mastermind: This time, I'm not taking something from the game. I'm adding something to it. Say hello to your new roommate.

Mastermind: There is still one more mystery to solve. Your new roommate is officially in the game but she is not the 17th houseguest. I've had an accomplice this whole time. And my accomplice is one of you. This accomplice helped me cut the lights, steal the HOH relic, and unlock the passageway that allowed a new player into the game. I told my accomplice if they could do all of this and remain undetected they would become a real houseguest ... If the majority of you can successfully determine who my accomplice is, they will immediately be removed form the house and only 16 of you will play ... Let's see how ... your deductive skills really are.

The mastermind has the houseguests vote on who they think the accomplice is.

After the vote, the mastermind calls the houseguests to the living room, and announces that five houseguests think Zae is the accomplice, and 11 think Riley is the accomplice. Riley is the official vote. If he's the accomplice, hell leave. If not, the accomplice will be the 17th houseguest.

The mastermind says Riley is not the accomplice. The accomplice has accomplished their mission and is officially in the game. Their identity will remain a secret. The mastermind tells the houseguests that they haven't seen the last of him.

The houseguests ask if the real accomplice wants to come forward.

In the Diary Room, Kelley says she's suspicious of Zae.

Ashley asks Zae if it's him. Zae promises on his momma it's not him.

The houseguests do their formal introductions. Hometown/current city, occupation/hobbies, and relationship status.

Vince calls the houseguests to the living room, and announces that the accommodations for Rachel are limited, and the only room available to her is the Have Not room, and that she'll be a Have Not. Because of that she's safe for the first week, as are the other three in the first group of Have Nots. Rachel will pick the second Have Not. They'll pick the third, and the third will pick the last.

Rachel asks if anyone wants safety, and hands go up. Rachel chooses Will.

Rachel in the DR says it's important that she has a fan on her side, and she'll be safe with him.

Will chooses Zach as the third Have Not.

Will in the DR says he hopes it establishes trust with Zach.

Zach in the DR says he wants to get to know Lauren, but Ava has the most puppy dog look he's ever seen. Zach chooses Ava.

The first four Have Nots are Rachel, Will, Zach, and Ava. The four of them are safe.

The houseguests go check out the Have Not room. It's a crime scene theme.

Jimmy, in the DR, says he's still gunning for Rachel, and that he's going to talk to people to get them onboard.

Jimmy talks with Morgan and Micky about Rachel. Ava joins.

Morgan argues that Rachel can help their game.

Morgan in the DR says at first she was terrified, but she wants to learn from Rachel.

Will in the DR says Rachel is the queen of Big Brother.

Rachel asks WIll who his favorite players are.

Will says Dan, Dr. Will, her.

Rachel in the DR says she should've been the first name he said.

Zach seems intrigued that Rachel won and found her husband in the game, and wants to win and find someone for himself.


Zach gets a message in the DR. It congratulates him on the $10,000 but says that the $10,000 can be used to buy his safety. Any time prior to jury, if he's on the block at the end of the veto meeting, and he feels like he's in jeopardy, he can use the $10,000 to buy his safety. He can give it to the HOH, forcing them to name a new nominee. If he decides not to give it away, the $10,000 is his to keep.

Jimmy talks with Morgan and Micky and tells them he thinks he has Vince's ear this week.

They lock in an alliance name called Triple Threat.

The houseguests go and check out Vince's HOH room.


Amy and Rachel start talking, and form an alliance, the Mom Squad. Their plan is to get the younger players to focus on each other and not on the game.


Ashley goes up to take a shower in the HOH room, and says it'll only be 10 minutes.

Vince in DR says he just wanted to get some sleep.

The houseguests downstairs talk about Ashley taking a shower.

Katherine asks Ashley if Vince had a shower before her. Ashley says no.

Kelley, Zach, Morgan, Ava, and Amy talk in the backyard about the shower "situation".

Amy tells Ashley.

Ashley talks with Katherine, and asks if she's bothered that she took a shower. Katherine says no, and asks why. Ashley says maybe people took it a certain way because she (Katherine) said it in front of everybody.

Katherine in the DR says she doesn't have an issue, but if Ashley is trying to put fear in her heart, she's starting to have one.


Vince talks with Jimmy.

Vince in the DR says the hardest part about his HOH is that he has to nominate three people. He's trying to get an idea of what Jimmy is thinking he should do first week.

Vince asks if they should continue the conversation of who the accomplice is.

Jimmy says they know it's not Riley.

Vince says they agreed on him, Adrian, and Ashley were off the table (the houseguests who played in the HOH competition). Jimmy says ...

Vince says he wants to talk to people and see if a name comes up.

Jimmy says he thinks people are suspicious of Zae.

Jimmy (DR) says this may be the easiest opportunity to break up the bros.

Zae joins them.


Vince talks with Kelley. He tells her he doesn't know what he did to deserve her friendship.

Kelley says they need each other.

Vince tells her he wants to have a final two with her.

Kelley says she was asleep in bed and the thought kept her up that she want shim to put her up.

Vince asks why.

Kelley says it's easy for her, and it helps him.

Kelley (DR) says she thinks it's best that nobody knows they're working together.

Vince (DR) says one less person he has to upset is one less person who would nominate him. But he's hesitant because you don't want to put an ally on the block, because they can go home.

Zae brings up the Ashley in the shower thing

Vince asks who wouldn't take going up personally

Zae says he'd like to think if he's up with AShley, his odds of winning are decent.

Vince says it's twice the opportunity to get off the block

Zae says he doesn't want to go up. He'd hate getting voted off first

Keanue says everyone thinks it's a no brainer at this point because everyone's talking about Ashley and that shower.

Ashley says Zach came to her and said he doesn't want to see her go on the block so she should talk to Vince. That freaked her out. She told him she wanted to work with him. Of course people are gonna come in and kiss his ass because he's HOH

Vince says he thinks she was spiraling with some paranoia and it made him concerned. He doesn't want someone who should trust him to spiral

In the DR, Vince says he doesn't believe Ashley trusts him, and if she doesn't, then how are they gonna work together?

Ashley tells Vince it's gonna be funny when her name's not on the wall.


Amy talks with Vince

asks what his agenda is, to get a strong player out?

Vince say she's thinking maybe Zae. And he feels bad, but maybe Ashley. Her name was the most common mentioned

Amy says that make her feel a little bad, it was a shower. She feels like it was showergate.

Vince says her saying that makes things harder and easier at the same time

Amy says there's bigger fish to fry, and it's the easy move

Vince asks if it's the right move

Vince (DR) says all of a sudden Amy starts crying. he didn't know they were that close. He gets the impression that if he nominates Ashley, Amy will get mad at him. So he's thinking maybe put both of them up.

Vince tells Amy they can wrap for tonight, there's a lot to think about.


Nomination Ceremony

Zae because hey didn't get to talk much and he seems like a bit of a wildcard. Part of him feels he understands
He feels terrible about Amy on the block, but he has to nominate three people and it makes the most sense for his game right now

With Ashley, it had nothing to do with the shower, or anything personal. Her words say one thing, and her actions something else. She felt the most paranoid in the house, and he didn't know why.

Vince (DR) says Amy is just a pawn right now. She's just close with Ashley. If Ashley goes home, that's going to be fine. If Zae goes home, he's one of the macho men. That's not bad for his game either.

Zae (DR) says he's not surprised by the nominations. He's up against Ashley and Amy in the veto and he like shis odds

Ashley (DR) says Vinny's words don't mean jack hoot. He's a manipulator. She doesn't trust him. And it's firing her up to win veto, win HOH, and put him up. He can go home.
