Episode 1

Soka wins supplies (pot, machete, flint) at the reward challenge. Ratu finishes second, and wins the right to choose the Sweat task or the Savvy task for their supplies.

The Sweat task involves adding coconuts from two piles one by one into a net, and dragging them back and forth between the piles. Four hours to complete the task.

The Savvy task is a puzzle with 15 minutes to finish, and one opportunity to guess correctly.

If you complete your task, you get your supplies immediately. If you fail to do so, you'll have to wait until day 3 to receive them.

Ratu chooses the Sweat task. Brandon and Matthew will do it.

Tika gets the Savvy task. Helen and Carson will do it.

Helen and Carson complete the Savvy task for Tika's supplies.

Brandon and Matthew complete the Sweat task for Ratu's supplies.

Bruce has to leave the game for medical reasons, after injuring his head during the reward challenge.

Lauren, Matt, and Sarah are chosen at their respective tribes to go on a summit.

Brandon finds the key that opens a mysterious cage with an immunity idol. He tries to hide the key from Maddy, but tells her. Maddy says they should keep it a secret from the rest of the tribe. Brandon tells the tribe.

At the summit, the message reads:
"Inside this bag there are three packages. Two of them say 'Lose Your Vote'. One is a secret advantage. You must draw one package. If you draw the advantage, congratulations, you are done. But if you draw a lose your vote, you have an option to draw again from the remaining two packages. If you draw another 'Lose Your Vote' then you cannot vote at your next two tribal councils. When you are finished, return to your tribe camp. In a game where information is valuable, what will you tell your tribemates about your journey?"

Sarah (DR): "We have to pick at least one thing out of the bag. If it's not the advantage, you can choose to draw again, in which case, you're risking losing your vote at a sequential tribal council. So I have a two in three chance of losing my vote"

Sarah draws the "Lose Your Vote" on her first pull. She draws again and wins the "Inheritance" advantage which allows her to secretly inherit all of the advantages played at one tribal council. Matt pulls twice, loses two votes, and gets no advantage. Lauren wins a "Bank Your Vote" advantage that allows her to withhold her vote at one tribal council, and have an extra vote at a future one.

Matt shows his tribe one of the notes showing that he lost a vote. Sarah tells her tribe that only one person winds up with a reward, and that she's not sure if she's going to have a vote at the next tribal council, withholding that she lost her vote. Lauren tells the group about the summit, and what the advantage was, but that she lost.

Soka and Tika win immunity. Ratu is going to tribal council.

During the immunity challenge, Claire (Soka) tells Matthew (Ratu) that Matt (Soka) showed the rest of the Soka tribe the note from the summit. It causes Matthew to believe that Lauren is hiding something, because she never showed her note to Ratu.

Back at the Ratu camp, Matthew tries to rally votes against Lauren.

Maddy tries to rally the votes against Brandon.

At Tribal Council, Jaime and Matthew play their Shot in the Dark. Matthew's shot is unsuccessful. Jaime's shot is successful, and for the first time in the history of Survivor, someone is safe after using the Shot in the Dark.

Brandon decides to play his immunity idol.

The votes are 2-1 against Brandon. The one other vote is for Maddy, who becomes the first person voted out of Survivor 44 (second person out, with Bruce leaving for medical reasons).

Lauren banked her vote
Maddy voted out Brandon
Kane voted out Brandon
Brandon voted out Maddy

They suspect each other, but not Carolyn

Immunity Challenge

They'll have to race up and over an obstacle to a pile of large sandbags
They're gonna empty the sandbags until they find a bag containing a ball
Once they have the ball, they'll lift a heavy ladder, climb it, then use a rope to raise a bridge
Everybody will then race across the bridge to the finish, where one tribe member must maneuver that ball to the top of a snake maze
The first two tribes to complete the challenge win immunity

In addition, they're playing for a reward
First tribe to finish gets a large supply of fishing gear
Second tribe to finish, not as big of a supply, but will still get the job done
Third tribe to finish, tribal council tonight, and loses their flint

Claire sits out for Tika

Matthew completes the snake maze, and Ratu wins first place in the immunity challenge
Josh completes the snake maze, and Soka wins second place in the immunity challenge

Jeff asks Matthew, who finished quickly, what led him to putting himself in that role for a win or lose it spot
Matthew says he asked his tribe to trust him, and went against doctor's orders and took his arm out of his sling because he knew he could do this. He tells Jeff that he built one of those snake mazes in his backyard and practiced it many many times

Back at Tika's camp, Helen, Sarah, and Carson talk about who to vote out, and decide on Carolyn

Episode 3

Danny and the rest of the Soka tribe "lock in" an alliance without Matt and Frannie who keep going off together

Danny (Soka) decides to put the non-idol coin back into the bag in the birdcage, disposes of the note saying that it had no power, and hides the key for someone else to find

Soka goes on a group search for the key. Danny and Matt search together. Matt finds the key. Danny asks if he's found anything. Matt says no.

Matt opens the birdcage and finds the immunity idol message

Danny celebrates

Danny confronts Matt while they're with Josh and asks what he put in his pocket

Matt says he swears he didn't find anything

Danny says okay, he doesn't believe him

Matt says he swears, but after Josh walks off, he says he did find it, but don't tell Josh

Matt later tells Josh that he found the immunity idol

Josh thinks that now that Matt has an immunity idol, it's great for their relationship, but Matt and Frannie are no longer easy targets

Matt tells Frannie about the idol

Danny tells Claire about it

At the Ratu camp, Jaime finds an "idol", while on a walk with Matthew, which she thinks is the one that was replaced after Brandon used his

Matthew (DR): This is perfect. Jaime thinks that she has the hidden immunity idol, but the real truth is, I have it
I found it two days ago, and that gave me the opportunity to make a fake immunity idol. It didn't have to be grandiose
It didn't have to be crazy. It just had to be somewhat believable
I like being sneaky. I don't get to do that in my day to day life so why not explore every option ou there?
I never intended to play an honest game. That's not how I intended to outwit, outlast, and outplay.
So I will pull nay trick out of my bag to win

Jaime pinky swears with Matthew, and Matthew says they shouldn't talk strategy with anyone but each other. Jaime agrees.

Matthew (DR): I'm in the power position now. I gave Jaime a fake idol, and I did that to one gain trust, but if that trust isn't gonna get there, then I can turn it on her and put a target on her back

Immunity Challenge

For today's challenge, they're gonna dive into the ocean and swim to a large cube. Working together, they're gonna roll that cube to two large poles, collecting keys along the way. Once they have their key, they'll dig under a log, and unlock their puzzle platform, where they will stack four colored blocks, making sure there are no repeating colors on any side. First two tribes to finish win immunity. Safe from the boat.

In addition, they're playing for a reward.
First tribe to finish: Large survivor toolkit, and a huge platter of fruit
Second tribe to finish: Smaller toolkit. Smaller fruit
Last tribe to finish, otherwise known as the losers: tribal council where somebody will be the fourth person voted out and as a penalty for losing, Jeff will take their flint.

Soka has two extra tribe members, they choose to sit out Claire and Heidi

Jeff: Claire, just to mark it down, you have yet to compete in an immunity challenge this season

Claire: Yeah

Jeff: And you're alright with that

Claire: Yeah. As long as we get to the next immunity challenge, maybe I'll compete then. I want our best shot, and
I really trust these people

Jeff: So it sounds like we make the best decisions for the tribe, my ego's not involved. Alright

Ratu has one extra tribe member. Lauren will sit out

Matthew gets the keys for Ratu
Danny gets the keys for Soka
Carolyn gets the keys for Tika

Ratu gets to the log first

Soka gets to the puzzle first

Ratu wins first place immunity

Ratu leaves their puzzle up

Matt (Soka) runs over to check Ratu's puzzle for help

Carson and Yam Yam (Tika) run over to check Ratu's puzzle

Tika wins second place immunity

Soka will go to tribal council

At the Soka tribe's camp, Danny throws out Claire's name to Josh

Danny tells Claire that Matt's going home

Danny tells the others that they're gonna tell Claire Matt, and they're all voting Claire

Josh doesn't want to rock the boat

Josh tells Matt that if they can get everyone on board with Claire, he doesn't have to use his idol

Frannie wants to keep both Claire and Matt in the game. She tells Claire that Josh would be better for this first vote

Matt tells Claire that Danny and Josh both told him that the vote would be Claire. Claire is upset, and wants to turn the vote on Josh.

Claire talks to Heidi. Heidi says she has to think about it

Claire is considering playing her shot in the dark

Heidi tells Danny that it's either Josh or Claire, and she thinks she's the middle man.

Heidi (DR): It's very hard because it seems like everyone wants Josh out except Danny, but I feel like Danny is probably my number one

Danny and Heidi talk to Frannie

Frannie says Claire not being in challenges is fixable. Josh being suspicious is not fixable

Heidi is still undecided. She feels more aligned with Claire than Josh, but with Claire they may not be able to win more challenges, so she's conflicted

Tribal Council

Claire plays her shot in the dark.
The result: Not safe

Votes:
Claire
Claire
Fourth person voted out of Survivor 44, Claire

Josh voted out Claire
Danny voted out Claire
Frannie voted out Claire

Episode 4

Tika walks to the birdcage and finds sticks arranged in an X on the cage

They were put there by Carolyn to make use of the "fake" idol. She put the X on the cage, and hid the fake idol, placing another X underneath it.

Sarah spots the red X, and finds the "idol" cloth where Carolyn hid it

Reward Challenge

One player at a time is gonna climb up a ladder, cross a cargo net to the top of a tower where they will launch sandbags at a series of targets

Each player in the tribe must hit at least one target

First two tribes to hit all five targets win a reward: Tarps
First tribe to finish gets a large tarp
Second tribe to finish gets a smaller but just as effective tarp

In addition, at the end of the challenge, one player from each tribe is gonna go on a journey
The winning tribe will decide who goes from each tribe

Ratu and Soka each have an extra person
Frannie sits out for Soka
Kane sits out for Ratu

Soka wins first place
Ratu takes second place

Soka chooses Josh (Soka), Carson (Tika), and Jaime (Ratu) to go on the journey

First sign on the journey:
"Enter the jungle, then follow the path to the lookout
Take this time to get to know each other while being mindful of what you share"

Second sign:
"This part of your journey is over. Separate and pick a path"

Carson takes the left path
Jaime takes middle path
Josh takes the right path

All three find a sign that reads:
"Congratulations you have an immunity idol!
When played at Tribal Council, any votes cast against you will not count
If you intend to play the idol, you must do so anytime before the votes are read.
This idol has an expiration.
Once all players are living together on one beach, this idol loses all power and can no longer be used.
Oh, one more thing. You will not be returning to your tribe.
Reach into this bag and draw a new buff, then get on the boat and head to your new tribe.
Your personal items will be sent over.
The game just changed."

Josh goes to Tika
Jaime goes to Soka
Carson goes to Ratu

Josh joins Tika and tells them that on the journey he was given a new tribe
Sarah asks Josh if he's a surgeon based on a past statement where he said he needs steady hands for his job. Josh says no, and that he's a physical trainer.
The Tika tribe members are suspicious.

Carson joins Ratu and tells them that he was told he'd be switching tribes
He wants to paint a perception that Tika is led by Jam Jam, downplaying his own strategic abilities.
He tells them he was glad he was getting a new tribe because he thought he was next.
Tika tells him they thought Jam Jam was running the show, and Carson tells them that he thinks so.
Matthew is disappointed that Jaime, who he put so much work into building a relationship with is gone. He plans to now do the same with Carson.
Matthew tells Carson that Brandon played the idol on the first night, and had already opened the birdcage. He tells him that after the idol was played it goes back into rotation, and he was there when Jaime found it. So they made a bond to not talk about it, and no one else knows that she has it.
Carson tells him he won't say anything.

Jaime joins Soka
Frannie thinks that because Jaime swapped out with the person they intended to vote out, it gives them an easy position to just vote Jaime out. The only thing that throws a wrench into that is if she has a hidden immunity idol.
Soka discusses what Jaime might have
Danny suggests that they're allowed to go through her stuff. Danny looks and says she definitely doesn't have an idol.
Matt says she'd keep it on her.

Immunity Challenge

They're gonna dive into the ocean, one person at a time, climb to the top of a tall tower, then leap off it while grabbing a key
They'll then cross a floating balance beam and race to the finish
Then the next person goes
Once all four players are at the end, two players will use the keys to unlock the pieces and solve a manta ray puzzle
First two tribes to finish win immunity
Losers, tribal council where somebody will be the fifth person voted out
As a penalty for losing, Jeff will also take their flint

Soka and Ratu each have one extra person
Jaime will sit out for Soka
Matthew will sit out for Ratu

Soka wins immunity
Ratu wins immunity

Tika will go to Tribal Council

At the Tika camp, Jam Jam pushes for Josh to be the vote, with Carolyn as the decoy
On a walk, Sarah and Jam Jam tell Josh that they want to play with him and that they're voting out Carolyn
Later, Josh asks Carolyn if Tika is a tribe, and she says she doesn't feel like that
Josh suggests to Carolyn that he can use an immunity idol for her, and then they both vote for Sarah
Carolyn agrees
Jam Jam tells Carolyn that they're telling Josh she's the target
Carolyn wonders if she should let Josh play his idol for her, and then he goes home, or tell him to play his idol on himself, and both of them vote Sarah, and she goes home.

Tribal Council

Josh plays his immunity idol for himself
Sarah doesn't use her "Inheritance" advantage which would allow her to inherit all advantages played at the tribal council, nor does she use the fake idol that she found.

Sarah is voted out
Josh and Carolyn hold hands

Josh voted out Sarah
Sarah voted out Josh
Jam Jam voted out Josh
Carolyn voted out Sarah

Episode 5

Tika discusses the previous night's Tribal Council. Jam Jam feels blindsided
Carson feels like he's getting closer with the members of the Ratu tribe than they are with each other, and by the time anyone discovers that he's a mastermind, it'll be too late for them.
Jaime feels at home with the Soka tribe, where everyone meditates together.

Back at Tika, Josh says he made up a lie saying that he had another idol that he received at Soka from the birdcage
He showed them the paper that he received on the journey, and then he made a fake immunity idol with beads from treemail that he weaved into a bracelet.

Immunity Challenge

They'll be tied together
On Jeff's go, they'll be racing through a series of obstacles to a bucket they'll fill that bucket with water, they'll make their way over a netted, hinged platform, transporting the water until they have enough to lower a gate.
Once they reach the finish, two tribe members will work together to maneuver balls through a table maze
The first two tribes to land all three balls win immunity
In addition, they're playing for power in this game and control
The winning tribe will decide which three players go on a journey
The last tribe to finish, tribal council, where somebody will be the sixth person voted out of Survivor 44
And as a penalty for losing, Jeff will take their flint

Ratu has two extra people
Matthew will sit
Lauren will sit out

Soka has two extra people
Jaime will sit
Frannie will sit

Ratu takes first place
Soka takes second place
Tika will go back to Tribal Council

Ratu chooses Brandon (Ratu), Danny (Soka), and Carolyn (Tika) to go on the journey

Jeff wants Matthew to get some medical attention given his injury and after sitting out for two challenges.

At the Tika camp, Josh tells Jam Jam he'd like to save his second idol if he can
Jam Jam pushes for Carolyn to be the vote

Josh tells Jam Jam that when Carolyn comes back from her journey, they'll see what she tells each of them separately that she has, and then they'll see what kind of game she's playing.

Journey

First sign:
"Make your way down to the beach. Take this time to get to know each other"

Second sign:
"Welcome to the sanctuary...where good things happen.
Today, there is no game to play. No vote to risk.
Instead, you will enjoy a break from the heat as you share a light snack together.
In a game in which information is powerful, what will you tell your tribemates about your journey?"

Brandon and Danny ask Carolyn what' going on at Tika
Carolyn says she's worried. Josh came back with an idol from the first journey that he could only use up to the merge
Danny and Brandon deduce that Jaime and Carson must have one too

Danny and Brandon discuss working together at the merge

Carolyn says (cam) they're acting like she's not there and that they'd better watch out for her at the merge because she will make the merge.

Carolyn returns to the Tika camp and says (cam) that the journey has affected the way she's going to vote because she doesn't want to be a part of the bro thing, and Josh is a part of that

Carolyn motions to Jam Jam that's it's her and him

Carolyn tells Josh and Jam Jam that on the journey she had lunch with two people that were so obsessed with each other and how they're such big threats. And then they talked about how Josh is a good guy and really smart, and if he makes it, they can team up with him at merge
So they were basically like Jam Jam's dead in the water, Josh is fine

Josh says he has his idol so he is fine

Carolyn asks him if he has another idol

Josh says he does, and that he's playing it tonight

Carolyn asks Jam Jam if he saw it

Jam Jam says Josh showed him the note

Josh show them his "idol"

Jam Jam asks him if those are the beads from treemail

Josh says no

Jam says they are the beads from treemail

Josh says they're not. He wouldn't lie

Carolyn (cam) says Josh took out the exact same note that he showed her two days ago that he used at the last tribal

Jam Jam (cam) says Josh is sketchy. He pulled out a fake idol (laughs). It came apart (laughs).

Jam Jam says he still has to figure out if he's working with Carolyn or Josh.

He asks Carolyn if she got something on the journey

Carolyn tells him no. She apologizes for the last tribal, but she swears on everything. She doesn't want to go with Josh's bro alliance.

Jeff comes to Tika's camp and informs them that Matthew is no longer in the game, due to his injury. As a result, there is no tribal council.

Next week is the merge

Matt realizes that the one he has is fake, and suspects that Danny has the real one

Immunity Challenge

Jeff: For today's challenge, you're gonna stand on a narrow beam while balancing a ball at the end of a long pole
At regular intervals you're gonna move farther down the beam making it more difficult
If at any point you fall off the beam, or your ball drops, you're out
There's a twist to today's challenge. We're gonna divide into two teams of five
The player who lasts the longest on each team earns individual immunity
You'll be safe at tribal council because you'll have this around your neck
[Jeff reveals the immunity necklace]
This is what you covet in the game
If you are wearing this it means you're safe. Without it you are vulnerable
There's another twist to today's challenge
The player who lasts the longest out of everybody earns for their team immunity
Everybody on that team will be safe tonight at tribal council
Here's how it works: You will go to tribal council but you will watch tribal from the jury box and you will not vote
You will have no say in who goes home
It is safety without power
We're not done
You're also playing for a reward:
Peanut butter and jelly sandwiches
Salty potato chips
And ice tea
The losing team, tribal council, where somebody will be the eighth person voted out and the first member of our jury
Big stakes

Drawn teams

Orange
Heidi
Kane
Danny

Carson drew the grey rock

Jeff asks him who he thinks will last the longest
Carson chooses the orange group
If Orange wins, Carson wins. If Orange loses, Carson loses with them

Carolyn drops for Orange
Lauren drops for Purple
Kane drops for Orange after the first transition
Heidi drops for Orange
Danny drops for orange
Frannie wins individual immunity as the last Orange team member left
Jamie drops for Purple
Matt drops for Purple on the second transition
Yam Yam drops for Purple
Brandon wins individual immunity as the last Purple team member left
Brandon drops
Frannie wins immunity for the Orange team

Purple team will go back to the old Soka beach, not back to camp
They won't have any food, just time to figure out who they're going to vote out

Orange team gets a note labeled
"After you are finished eating, open together"

Matt tells Brandon and Jaime he feels like it's three Ratu deciding who goes home between him and Yam Yam
He wonders to them whether he's reading it correctly or there's a crazy plan to get out Lauren
Brandon says he has no plants to vote Lauren
Matt tells them he wants to work with them

Yam Yam tells Lauren that he heard Danny wanted her out because she had an extra vote, and he doesn't know if Danny and Matt are working together because nobody tells him anything.
Lauren tells him she wants Matt out

The Orange team opens the note, which reads:
"There is a new advantage locked in the cage
There are keys scattered in the jungle. One of them opens the cage
Each time you find a key you must race to the cage and try it.
If it doesn't work, then you can search for another
First person to open the cage gets the advantage inside
Go!"

Heidi finds the correct key
"Congratulations. You have found the 'Control a Vote' Advantage
This allows you to control the vote of one player for tonight's tribal council
This advantage must be played when Jeff says 'It's time to vote'
You will tell one player who you want them to vote for
They must cast their vote for that player
This advantage is only good for tonight"

Matt tells Yam Yam that he doesn't have his bag
Yam Yam tells Matt that if the others split their votes, and he and Matt don't vote the way the others tell them to, then it's two votes against two

Matt says he's thinking of a Lauren blindside

Brandon asks Lauren and Jaime what they think Yam Yam and Matt are talking about because they've been gone for a while

The three are unsure about Matt's idol situation
Lauren thinks they should split the vote just in case

Heidi tells Frannie she can control a vote tonight.
Frannie says her first thought is to vote out Yam Yam

Heidi tells Danny and Kane about the advantage. Danny says he'd prefer Lauren

Heidi tells Carolyn. Carolyn wants to help Yam Yam

Heidi talks one on one with Kane, wondering if all the love for Matt, including theirs, makes him dangerous
Kane tells her he was thinking the same thing

Heidi tells Frannie she doesn't think she has the power to save Matt

Frannie tells her she feels confident that Brandon will vote with Matt, going for Yam Yam

Heidi says she isn't convinced

Heidi (DR): I think it's been well known that Lauren has two votes, and that's what makes it kind of interesting cause I could just go for Lauren.
Maybe the safest is go for Yam Yam. But what they don't know is, I have a sweet spot for Yam Yam. I think I could work with him.
And I would love to save Matt but do we want someone here staying longer if everyone loves them? Cause that's also competition for me, so it's a conundrum.
I mean this is powerful and I like power, but I have to use it in a way that I gain friends rather than enemies

Tribal Council

Matt says he doesn't have his bag and wonders if he could get it from the jury box if it's there
Jeff asks if anyone brought his bag. No one did.

Matt offers Jeff a papaya to skip tribal council for tonight

Jeff let's Matt and Yam Yam plead their case

Heidi reveals her "Control a Vote" advantage

She takes Lauren's vote and directs her to vote for Yam Yam

Lauren asks Jeff, since she has more than one vote, does Heidi control one of her votes or more than one

Jeff says one

Kane believes that the game is now Ratu's to lose.

Carson is feeling ill

They receive tree mail that reads:
"Today there's only one necklace,
only one truly safe when you're through.
Such grueling competition,
...It will be run two by two.

You must divide into five pairs to compete."

Jaime asks Heidi to pair up

Carolyn chooses to pair up with Carson

Lauren tells Yam Yam, Danny, and Frannie that she knows she's going to be a weaker link

Yam Yam chooses to pair up with Frannie, leaving Danny with Lauren

Kane is paired with Brandon

Immunity challenge

Jeff: Today's challenge is gonna move quickly, it's gonna run in three stages
Players will be eliminated in each stage
So in order to make the next stage, you gotta make the cut
Here's how it works
For the first stage you're gonna crawl, one person at a time, through a twisted muddy net, then dig up planks and race back to your mat
First four pairs to race back to their mat and plant their flag move on to the next round
The last pair is out, that's it, no shot at immunity
For the next stage, you'll race up a cargo net and use those planks to cross a rope bridge
You gotta get both players and all three planks to the other side, then you slide down the wall, race to your mat
The first two pairs to finish move on to the final round
The last two pairs, you're out. No shot at immunity
For the final round, pairs are gone. It will now be four individuals.
You will use your arms to brace between two walls while your feet are perched on narrow foot holds
It's painful. When you drop, you're out
Last person left standing wins immunity, guarantees a spot in the final nine
Losers, tribal council where somebody will be the ninth person voted out and the second member of our jury

Alright, let's draw for spots, and get it on

Round 1
Brandon and Kane finish first in Round 1
Lauren and Danny finish second in Round 1
Frannie and Yam Yam finish third in Round 1
Heidi and Jaime finish fourth in Round 1

Carolyn and Carson are eliminated

Round 2
Brandon and Kane finish first in Round 2
Lauren and Danny finish second in Round 2

Yam Yam and Frannie are eliminated
Heidi and Jaime are eliminated

Round 3
Kane drops first in Round 3
Brandon drops second in Round 3
Danny drops third in Round 3

Lauren wins individual immunity

Brandon and Kane discuss putting the target on Frannie, and then tell the others

Heidi wants to make a different plan, combining with the three from Tika

Danny tells Heidi he has an idol, and he'll play it for Frannie so they can blindside Brandon

Heidi talks to Yam Yam, Carolyn, and Frannie about working together, to go against Ratu, with the target being Brandon

Yam Yam talks with Carson. Heidi joins them. Carson tells her they want it to work but they just want to make sure it's going to

Heidi tells them that Danny has an idol, and he would play it for Frannie

Yam Yam (DR) says he's playing all sides, and he's thinking about approaching Ratu and telling them that Danny has an idol that he's going to play for Frannie

Danny tells Frannie she's correct in thinking that she is the target right now, but they're gonna make a big move on Brandon, and he'll play his idol for her.

Danny tells Carson that the two of them plus Heidi and Frannie vote Brandon out.
Carson asks about Carolyn and Yam Yam. Danny says he wants to keep it small
Carson tells him Yam Yam knows the plan.
Danny asks Carson if Yam Yam knows he has an idol
Carson says yes
Danny asks if it was Heidi
Carson says yeah, but he can monitor Yam Yam
Danny says that changes everything. If they switch the votes, he's gone

Danny (DR) says his fear is that Yam Yam tells Ratu about his plan to take out Brandon, and then they switch the vote to him.
If he goes through with the plan, he's playing his idol on Frannie, or maybe to be safe he uses it to protect himself. If he could trust the Tika tribe is voting with Soka, and keep the idol in his bag... it's a lot to take in. He'll have his ears wide open at tribal council, and he's ready to be adaptable.

Tribal Council

Jeff tells Kane the obvious difference is now they have a jury
Kane says it brings another layer to the game, and you have to be playing different and visible so that people can see what you're doing. He thinks there are a lot of people who are going to be skyrocketing their game.

Jeff asks Heidi how much adrenaline and anxiety there was from 0-10
Heidi says 10.

Jeff asks Jaime how she's feeling right now
Jaime says she's also at a 10. You have to be on your toes at all times If you blink your eye something changes

Jeff asks Brandon if that's because you don't know where your reltaionships might end
Like tonight might be the night you find out you were the one on the bottom
Brandon says you can have a million conversations but it's always scary not knowing whether you're on the wrong or right side. Is he being told the right thing, or is he being lied to so he feels comfortable with what's going on

Jeff asks Lauren how you make sure a vote is your decision so you're not just a floater
Lauren says for tonight, it may be a majority vote, but she's still thinking about her game

Jeff tells Danny a majority vote is fine so long as it's the vote you want
Danny says yeah, being on the wrong side of the majority vote is never a good thing but there's something to be said about being on the wrong side of the majority and making a comeback. And that's something that people on the jury kind of respect as well
When you're out in this game that's just an opportunity

Jeff asks Kane regardless how a vote goes, is there always an opportunity for somebody to make that part of their resume
Kane says he's always trying to make sure that he's moving with intention and that he has an intention with this vote
So maybe that intention is to make a flashy move or build trust with some of his new friends
For him that's what the commodity of every vote is

Jeff says to Frannie you could have ten different intentions
Frannie says yeah, they're all like arrows pointing in different directions and they're gonna intersect tonight, but tomorrow, they're spread off. So every tribal is about trying to intersect as many points as you can but you have to figure out what direction everybody's going in if you want to be on the right page

Heidi says some of them will find the intersection point, some will not, but the intersection point today will be key, and she thinks it'll speak very loudly about each of their games at the moment.

Kane says Brandon being voted out woke him up, and he plans to target Danny who he thinks is looking to keep his foot on the pedal and make big moves
Danny says the shy part of looking for idols is over now
Jaime and Lauren notice that Danny is always looking for idols and vow to keep looking

Everyone is looking for idols

Jaime wants two idols (she has a fake one currently)
Carson thinks Danny already found another one

Heidi finds an immunity idol
"Congratulations,
You have found a hidden Immunity Idol.
When played at Tribal Council, any votes cast against you will not count.
If you intend to play the idol you must do so anytime before the votes are read.
The last time this can be used is when there are five players left in the game."
Heidi's plan is to not tell anyone

Carolyn says she wants the others to think that she doesn't know what she's doing but she's here to play

The group gets tree mail
"This challenge is relatively painless,
...unless you're still craving rice.
Because you will feel the sting,
when you negotiate the price."

The group discusses if anyone wants to sit out the next challenge for rice

Danny says they're three, three, and three, everybody's relatively even so just play the game.

Frannie doesn't fully trust that Tika is on her and Soka's side so she's not willing to make the sacrifice of sitting out

Immunity Challenge
Jeff: For today's challenge, you're gonna stand on a small block while balancing a ball on an overhanging piece of wood
If at any point the ball drops or you fall off the block, you're out
Last person left standing wins immunity
Guaranteed a spot in the final eight
Losers, tribal council where somebody will be the tenth person voted out and the third member of our jury"

Jeff asks if they're interested in negotiating for rice
Lauren and Carson volunteer to sit out
Jeff says he wants four people

Danny says that he won't vote for the sitters, on scout's honor
Carson agrees, Carolyn agrees

Kane volunteers to sit out
Jaime comes close to volunteering and decides not to
Heidi volunteers to sit out as the fourth

Lauren, Carson, Kane, and Heidi are the sit-outs

Carolyn, Yam Yam, Frannie, Jaime, and Danny will compete

Jeff: You can only have one foot on the block, meaning your second foot will be on top of your first

Carolyn drops
Jaime drops
Yam Yam drops

It's between Frannie and Danny
Danny drops

Frannie wins immunity

Back at camp, the group gets their rice

Danny, with Heidi, asks Carson and the others from Soka what they want to do
Carson says he doesn't care. They have the majority right there
Heidi wants to target Kane
Carson says he's open for anything
The group agrees that they need to get Jaime to flush the idol

Jaime asks Tika if they're saying her name
Carson says Soka is
Jaime says all of Soka are physical threats, so they have to split between Danny and Heidi

Kane asks what the word is
Carson tells him they plan to split the votes
Kane says himself, Carolyn, Yam Yam and Carson on Danny and then Lauren and Jaime on Heidi
Lauren tells Kane that she's going to give her Extra Vote advantage to Jaime just in case Danny has a Knowledge is Power advantage

Jaime gives Kane her "idol"

Frannie wants to work with Ratu to put the votes on Tika, with Soka's three votes on Yam Yam and Ratu's three votes on Carolyn
And then on the revote, they can vote Yam Yam out

Danny tells Frannie that going after Tika right now is illogical

Yam Yam tells Carson he wants Kane out since he voted for him
Yam Yam tells Carolyn, but she doesn't think Kane is a big threat.
She wants to vote out Danny.

Carson talks with Carolyn about Yam Yam wanting to get Kane out.
Carolyn says she feels they have the numbers to get Danny.

Carson wants to keep Tika together to vote as a collective such that they can control the vote.

Tribal Council

Jeff asks Kane about the negotiation where four people volunteered and everyone else said they're safe
Kane says he doesn't believe that

Jeff says he did hear Danny say "scout's honor"
Danny says he's not a scout

Jeff asks Jaime where she sits on the norms and values of the season
Jaime says you have these opposite sides of the spectrum opinions on what it means to sit out for the good of the tribe and it tells you a lot about the individual and how they're playing the game

Danny says agree to disagree

Carolyn says the rice changed everything.

Jeff says to Jaime that it hits on the excitement and the dread of this game and what makes it so alive is it could be you
Jaime says she's listening to everything and she needs to make sure that the last conversation that she had was solid so she's trying to pick up what people are putting down

Yam Yam says he's pretty sure everybody has a plan, it's just the surprise is gonna be which one

Jeff says to Danny when you're playing Survivor this is what you want right?
Danny says yeah in the game of Survivor, sometimes you're gonna be driving the car but sometimes you gotta be all ears and pick which back seat to get into and it's a live tribal, always

Jeff says with this group, he tends to believe him that he's listening even right now for somebody to say something that doesn't ring true that might change his mind, and then Jeff asks Carolyn how certain she is about her vote
Carolyn says she feels worse coming here. Everyone's telling her that they're going back and forth with the plan, and she's looking like can someone give her a nod or anything?

Kane whispers to Frannie and then to Carolyn

Jeff asks Yam Yam if the whispering makes him nervous
Yam Yam says yes, he wants some subtitles to see what's going on

Kane asks Carolyn if she knows the plan
Carolyn says yeah but there were so many
She asks if it's Danny
Kane says yeah

Lauren walks over
Jaime walks over
Jaime asks Kane if they're good
Carolyn whispers to Carson
Carson says yeah it's the same thing
Heidi whispers to Danny
Frannie tells Kane she thinks they're voting for Jaime
Carson asks Lauren if she's good
Lauren says yeah, and wants to vote Danny
Jaime asks Kane if she should play her idol
Kane says he doesn't think so, he thinks Carolyn is good but if she wants to play it, he won't hesitate

Jeff asks if they're ready to vote
Yam Yam says it might change if they don't

Reward Challenge
Jeff: For today's challenge, you're gonna spin inside a metal frame, slowly winding a buoy across a line
You'll then make your way across a series of obstacles, grabbing two balls along the way
You'll then race to land those balls on a tall ledge
First person to finish wins reward. Wanna know what you're playing for?
The winner will be taken to the sanctuary where good things happen
You'll enjoy tacos, apple empanadas, cold beer, margaritas, virgin margaritas if anybody's under 21
Worth playing for?
Alright I like it
Day 18 we'll draw for spots let's get started
Here we go

Frannie wins

Jeff: Alright, so here's what's gonna happen Frannie. You're gonna spend the night at the sanctuary
Blankets, pillows, a roof over your head. In addition, you will fall asleep drifting off with memories of home
because you'll also be reading your letters from home
The reason you're out here, the people who are back home waiting for you to get back home have written you
letters to encourage you
So you've got food, shelter, and love
Biggest reward of the season, choose one person to join you tonight at the sanctuary

Frannie chooses Carolyn because she misses her son

Jeff: Frannie, choose one more person to join you

Frannie chooses Lauren because she hasn't been eating as much and she misses her son

Jeff: Now it's really tricky. One spot left

Franny chooses Heidi

Jeff: Alright, Frannie, Carolyn, Lauren, Heidi, head out, boat's gonna pick you up
take you to the sanctuary. You'll return to camp tomorrow
Enjoy

Yam Yam, Danny, Jaime, and Carson discuss the strength of Frannie's game and potentially targeting her

Frannie, Carolyn, Lauren, and Heidi read their letters from home

They discuss the possibility of women winning

Carolyn brings up Danny as a target and asks Heidi when she's going to let go of him

Heidi says she's not tied to Danny. They both know they're going to kick each other out when it's time to

Carolyn says it's time tomorrow. Frannie asks if it's time to. Heidi says it could be

Back at Va Va, Danny says Heidi will vote out Frannie at the next tribal 100%

Yam Yam says Carolyn's gonna be pissed

Jaime says they have to come up with a story for Carolyn, like what name is she gonna write down

Danny suggests that they can just say they're trying to flush Jaime's idol

Jaime tells them she gave her idol to Kane due to the threat of a Knowledge is Power advantage, and now the idol's gone.

Danny says that story is BS. Carson says now they're doing an idol search. It's put her more on his radar because she's good

Danny and Carson agree that if it's not Frannie, they can do Jaime

Heidi tells Carolyn that voting out Danny would have to be a blindside

The four from the sanctuary return to camp

Jaime informs them about what happened to her "idol"

Jaime leaves

And they think her story is BS

Frannie (DR) says the fact that she can lie to your face only exacerbates to her that Jaime is a dangerous player in the game

Immunity Challenge
Jeff: Once again immunity is back up for grabs
For today's challenge, your feet will be tied together
Your arms will be tied to your side
On my go, you're gonna slither through the sand while using your mouth to drag a buoy through the course
When you get to the end you're gonna maneuver the buoy through a final obstacle and then race to finish a star shaped puzzle
First person to finish this challenge wins this necklace
You can't be voted out tonight
Losers, tribal council where somebody will be the 11th person voted out
Become the fourth member of our jury
Big enough stakes?
Alright, we're gonna draw for spots
We'll get started
Here we go

Alright, for immunity, Survivors ready. Go!

Carson wins individual immunity

Danny wants to target Frannie

Frannie says she's been safe and hasn't had a chance to put her social strategy to the test up to this point

The names floating are Danny and Jaime

Carson suggests splitting it 3-3, and if Jaime doesn't play her idol vote her

Danny talks with Lauren, Yam Yam, and Jaime

Danny says nobody's beating Frannie, and asks Lauren if she's down

Lauren says she is

Yam Yam thinks Jaime is the biggest threat right now with her idol, but he wants to talk to Carson

Carson says he doesn't know what's best. He wants himself, Yam Yam, and Carolyn to be the closest to each other
but he sees Carolyn forming a closer bond with Frannie

Danny tells Heidi that everyone's voting Frannie. They don't need her as a number but she's his number one ally,
and if she wants to win she has to do it

Heidi says she may or may not play her idol tonight

Heidi tells Carson and Carolyn that Danny told her he doesn't need her for numbers if she's not comfortable

Carolyn tells Frannie that they don't know how many people Danny has voting for her

Carolyn asks Lauren, Jaime, and Frannie if they're gonna let Danny control another vote

Frannie thinks Heidi's gonna write her name down

Lauren asks why not vote out Heidi, their four and one more

Frannie suggests Carson

Carolyn tells Carson that her, Frannie, him, Lauren, and Jaime vote Heidi

Carson says he doesn't like the last minute thing

Carson says he needs to have a conversation with Yam Yam and Jaime

Carolyn tells Yam Yam, her, him, Carson, Frannie, Lauren, and Jaime are voting for Heidi

Carson says right now, he's in full chaotic mode
He knows there's going to be a betrayal either way, he just has to decide who he's betraying

Tribal Council

Jaime reiterates that her idol walked out the door with Kane

Jeff: So Yam yam, what does it say about this game that the better you do, the bigger the target becomes?

Yam Yam: This is a game of doing great things and knowing how to smoke and mirror it
This is a very difficult game to play you know? You wanna be great but being great maybe is not the best thing always
I'm not winning (laugh)
I don't have to worry about

Jeff: You have eight people here, eight different plans to get to the end, and Frannie winning some challenges
is one layer to a reason you might think of voting somebody out. There are all kinds of things going on in this
tribe that factor into the vote

Jaime: Yes, that's what I love about this new era of Survivor is it is new. Every single day it's a brand new game
So the people that you worked with last tribal, you might not talk to them at all this tribal
It's always gonna be different because everyone's motives are different and depending on what happened that day
it might change who you work with altogether. So the era of alliances is over.

Danny what scares you most about this game right now?
To be honest Jeff, we genuinely like all really get along so now like it's no secret, me and Lauren have been on
opposite sides of voting, but like on a personal level, I love the hell out of this woman
But it's also scary because everybody else has those relationships and it could be oh, now that friendship has
evolved into an alliance

Jeff: Frannie, you were nodding in agreement

Frannie: Oh yeah, I thought one of the great certainties in this game is that Danny and Lauren didn't have a strategic
relationship, you know? You can't sleep on any permutation in this game right? Anybody can talk to anyone and be
working with anyone at any time

Jeff: If anybody has an advantage or an idol and you wanna play it, now would be the time to do so

Danny is suspicious about who voted him out
(It was Heidi)

Yam Yam asks Carolyn if she has the Tika idol, and she says no (she does)
Carson says he thinks they should tell Danny that Heidi was the vote against him

Yam Yam tells Danny that Heidi voted for him

Danny asks Heidi if she voted for him
Heidi says it wasn't her
Danny says even if it was, he'd still be down to work with her
Heidi says it wasn't her

Danny says Yam Yam told him it was her

Heidi asks if it could be Jaime

Danny says maybe, but he thinks it was Yam Yam

Heidi says let's not make a big deal out of it
Danny says he thinks Yam Yam had this planned

Danny (DR) says he believes Heidi. He knows her very well and she wouldn't turn against him
He thinks Tika are trying to split the two of them up, so now he has his sights set on them

Yam Yam and Carolyn talk after a swim
Carolyn asks Yam Yam who his ideal final three would be
Yam Yam asks if he can be there two times, he has multiple personalities
Yam Yam asks Carolyn who she thinks is the biggest threat
Carolyn says Danny and then Lauren
Yam Yam says he thinks Danny would vote with any name they say
Carolyn asks if Danny would vote out Lauren
Yam Yam says yes, he thinks so

Danny and Lauren talk in the forest
Danny says they're in a similar position right now where keeping Tika around...
Lauren says they're gonna have some power
Danny says he and her have zero upside to that

Carolyn asks Carson who his ideal final three is
Carson says her and Yam Yam

Heidi and Danny discuss Tika with Jaime
Heidi says the Tika three are gonna pick them off one by one
Danny says it's either Carson or Yam Yam, and Yam Yam is a big final three threat
Jaime and Heidi agree

Immunity Challenge
Jeff: Once again immunity is back up for grabs
Today's challenge is a Survivor classic
Built to test your ability to overcome fear
Here's how it works
For today's challenge you're gonna be in the water underneath a grated steel barrier
As the tide rises, your breathing room will decrease
That's when the panic will set in
Last person left standing wins immunity, guaranteed a spot in the final six
Losers tribal council where somebody will be the twelfth person voted out, become the sixth member of our jury
Shall we draw for spots?
Let's do it

Lauren drops out after an hour
Jaime drops out
Carson drops out
Carolyn drops out
Canny drops out
Heidi drops out

Yam Yam wins immunity

Carson talks with Carolyn and says he's excited because they're so close
This is the most critical vote
They just have to get it down to six where Tika have the majority

Danny talks with Heidi and Jaime, saying at this point Carson will beat all of them
Jaime agrees
Danny says they're voting Carson
Heidi and Jaime agree
Jaime tells Danny she's going to tell Tika that she's putting the vote on him and Heidi
Danny agrees and says he's going to say he's splitting the vote on her and Lauren

Danny tells Yam Yam he's thinking they should put three on Jaime and two on Lauren

Danny tells Carolyn that her and Heidi will vote Lauren, and they're all going to do Jaime
Carolyn asks if that's the for real plan or the fake plan
Danny says that's the real plan if they're cool with that
Carson says he's cool with that

Carolyn tells Yam Yam she gets the vibe that they're voting for Carson
Yam Yam says he's sticking to the plan

Carolyn (DR) says something's not right, and there's nothing more annoying when you're told by Danny "Yeah, that's the plan, let's just keep it simple let's just not even have anymore discussion"
She's worried now that Danny is planning to take Carson out for this vote
She needs to investigate this

Carolyn tells Danny that she knows Carson is a big threat so she's not opposed to voting him

Danny says right now he thinks it's bad timing

Carolyn (DR) says he's lying to her
Even with her interrogating the strategy talk out of him, she still needs Carson around so she wants to vote out Danny
She doesn't trust him at all
Also he has a good chance at winning immunities

Carolyn talks with Carson and tells him something's not right
She's getting vibes that it might be him

Carson talks with Jaime and Lauren and says he knows Danny's coming after him
He asks if they think the vote should be split between Danny and Heidi
If they would rather take Heidi out that's fine with him, but he thinks Danny might have an idol or something

Yam Yam tells Carson he's praying he has an idol
Carson says he doesn't, he'd use it if he did, but he's pretty sure Lauren and Jaime are with them

Jaime tells Lauren she feels like it's pretty equal at this point between Danny and Carson
Danny is a threat but he's not good at puzzles
He hasn't won immunity
Carson has, and he's won immunities

Lauren says she trusts Carson more than she trusts Danny
Jaime says Tika has the numbers, that would be the benefit of getting Carson out
Tika is just gonna pick them off one by one

Yam Yam and Carolyn talk again
Yam Yam says he thinks they're voting Carson out
Carolyn asks Yam Yam if he'll stay strong and vote Danny with her
Yam Yam says he doesn't want to get paranoid because if it's Carson, it's not the two of them
Carolyn says they can't lose him yet
She asks him to promise to vote Danny
Yam Yam says he will, but be chill

Carolyn tells Carson she found the Tika idol
He's the first person she told
Carolyn says she's scared if she plays an idol for him, Danny's gonna play one for himself
What if there's two votes on her or something
Or what if she gets voted out, or something stupid happens
Carson says maybe it's best to vote against Heidi so Heidi goes home

Carolyn (DR) says there are so many plans that she's gonna be spinning until Tribal
She's scared, she's nervous, she doesn't know what she's gonna do

Tribal Council

Jeff asks Carolyn why she's laughing
Carolyn says it's non-stop flowing
She's up every hour, she really doesn't sleep and she starts thinking the plan, the next plan, and then the next plan
So by the time she gets here, she's still spinning and second guessing, and paying attention to what people are saying in Tribal, and then in between they have days when they're meditating and they're telling each other how great one another is, and then the next tribal, completely different

Jeff asks Danny if he agrees with that
Danny says no, he feels like as Tribals go on, he looks at it like fighters
You look at a fighter and he's got his first fight, you look at that like a first time fighter, he's nervous, he's doing a lot of extra work
And you look over at a guy who's had ten fights, he's calm relaxed, he has the routine down
He feels like as tribals go on, they all develop their own routine and they're like they might get knocked out tonight, but that's the game

Carolyn says she doesn't see it like that
She sees it like they have their rest days and then it turns into scramble

Jeff says to Lauren that that's another complication
No one here is going to experience any moment of any day the same way
Lauren says they're all different types of players
Some are more experienced, and maybe strategic players, and others may rely a little bit more on their emotions and they all experience things in different ways

Jeff says case in point, Carolyn exhaling while she's talking
Carolyn says she doesn't understand the experience, to her it's like a comparison between
Lauren says maybe that was the wrong term
Carolyn says she guesses she just heard experience vs. emotions
Lauren says that was the wrong comparison

Danny says comparison is the thief of joy

Carolyn says that's what Lauren just did, so that's why she asked, so she's not comparing, she was just clarifying

Danny says okay cool

Jeff asks Carolyn if she's annoyed

Carolyn says absolutely

Jeff says if she gets some sleep who knows how she'll see things

Jeff asks if she's mad at him now

Carolyn says yes

Jeff asks why
What'd he say? She's not sleeping, he was just commenting

Carolyn says she's good
She's glad they cleared it up
This is awkward but she's good

Jeff says to Carolyn one of the many things he likes about her is she just says what's on her mind

Carolyn says that's a problem too

Jeff says maybe at times, but it's a million dollar game, you should be speaking up
This is somebody's last tribal council
They're moments away from voting

Jeff asks Yam Yam if he's uneasy about the vote

Yam Yam says someone he doesn't want to leave might be leaving, and that scares him because tomorrow he might not have the necklace on

Jaime says she feels really solid with the vision that she has and the roles that each person is playing in tonight's vote

Jeff says you could read a lot into that and asks Danny if he feels the certainty that Jaime has

Danny says he feels that with the people he's working with, their logic is aligned
If someone else needs what he needs, he trusts them
If they don't, he doesn't trust them

Jeff asks Carson how comfortable he is with what he thinks has happened

Carson says he's a little scared

Jeff asks Carson what his takeaway would be if it's him

Carson says he thinks Survivor has taught him how to accept his quirks and be comfortable in them, and that's something he'd never be able to buy with just a million dollars, so he's beyond grateful to be here

Jeff asks Carolyn how comfortable she is with where the vote is going and what she's gonna do tonight

Carolyn says she's scared. She's not comfortable. She's nervous
She's putting her trust in people that did not vote with her last time
She's nervous

Carson catches Heidi getting up to go look for an idol, and wakes up Carolyn to join him in doing the same

Heidi (DR) says she has an idol and nobody knows about it
She's an easy vote because she's the last Soka member
If she had two idols, she could buy two tribal councils and then position herself in the final four

Everyone's up searching for an idol

Lauren, Yam Yam, Carson, and Jaime talk

Lauren likes the four of them as a group

Carson asks who they think should go first

Lauren says Carolyn

Carson (DR) says he wants to stay with Carolyn and Yam Yam and it's time for a Ratu member to go
But for Ratu to feel secure, he needs himself and Yam Yam to pretend that they're willing to work with Lauren and Jaime
Lauren and Jaime have worked with them for the last two tribal councils, so they feel comfortable
But they shouldn't because one of them is going next

Reward Challenge

Jeff: For today's challenge, we're gonna randomly divide into two teams of three
One player will be strapped inside a giant ball
They will guide their two blindfolded tribe members as you push the ball through along winding course to a table maze where the person still inside the ball will guide the still blindfolded tribe members as they race to finish the maze
First team to finish wins reward
The winning three will be taken to [Sanctuary] where good things happen
You will start with a relaxing foot massage
While you're enjoying your relaxing foot massage you'll have lunch
Sandwiches, plus chocolate, cookies, fruit, juice, and iced tea
Losers, another afternoon back at camp with rice
Worth playing for?
Alright we'll draw for teams, we'll get started
Let's do this

Purple team
Jaime - caller
Heidi & Carolyn - pushers

Orange team
Carson - caller
Yam Yam & Lauren - pushers

Orange team wins

During the massage Yam Yam tells Lauren that Carolyn playing the idol is still on his mind
Her threat level went up big time

Carson says Carolyn is a huge threat and she's playing a lot harder than everyone notices, so his ideal is Carolyn next

Carson (DR) says his goal is to make Lauren feel as comfortable as possible because he wants her to think he's working with her 100%

Lauren says she's down with it

Yam Yam (DR) says that the fact that Carolyn's a big threat makes him very nervous
They've been together longest, but now that they're only six, you start thinking of how you can get to the end, and his gut tells him it might be time to vote Carolyn out

Back at the Va Va camp, Jaime suggests the three of them thinking about one of the others
If they want to hand Carson a million dollars then take him to the finals

Carolyn says she knows
She loves him but there's no way

Carolyn (DR) says Jaime started talking about getting Carson out, and she does believe that Carson is a big threat but she can't lose Carson yet
She till needs her numbers
She doesn't want Lauren, Heidi and Jaime to team up
She knows that Carson can't go to the end with her, but they need him for at least one more vote

Carolyn asks Heidi what she thinks about Jaime saying it's the three of them
She doesn't think Carolyn is gonna get rid of Lauren, and she doesn't trust 100% that she would...

Heidi agrees, and says she would prefer the two of them and Yam Yam because she doesn't trust Lauren and Jaime

Heidi (DR) says she thinks the final three should probably be Yam Yam, Carolyn, and her but she doesn't trust anybody right now
Luckily she has an idol to help her

Yam Yam, Carson, and Lauren return from the sanctuary

Carolyn tells Carson that Jaime's been pitching him and she's been saying oh yeah it makes sense

Carson tells Carolyn that the others are trying to split her, him, and Yam Yam up

Yam Yam tells Jaime he thinks Carolyn went from middle threat to biggest threat
So he doesn't see himself with Carolyn and Carson at the end
Carolyn's crazy thing works for her

Jaime (DR) says she wants Carson out but she's going with the flow
She wants Carolyn out, absolutely
As long as a Tika member goes home

Yam Yam (DR) says he talked to Jaime about how big of a target Carolyn is
She agrees with him, so it might be time that the Tika three break up
He needs to disconnect from there

Immunity Challenge

Jeff: Once again immunity is back up for grabs
For today's challenge, very simple
You're gonna use two ropes to balance a ball on a disc
At regular intervals, you will move farther back making it more difficult
If at any point your ball drops, you're out
Last person left standing wins immunity
Guaranteed a spot in the final five
Losers, tribal council where somebody will be the thirteenth person voted out, become the sixth person of our jury
Shall we draw for spots?
Let's do it

Round 1

Jaime drops out
Carolyn drops out
Carson drops out
Yam Yam drops out

Round 2

Heidi drops

Lauren wins immunity

Yam Yam (DR) wants to cement the plan that Carolyn is the biggest threat but nobody's talking
Nobody wants to go to the water well or the beach
They need to talk about who's gonna leave tonight

Carolyn asks Heidi if anyone's said anything to her
Heidi says no
Carolyn says that's weird, and asks if she'd be willing to do Jaime
Heidi says yes, that's their best shot

Heidi (DR) says if she goes with the Tika members, she could save her idol, but everybody has lied in this game to her in some capacity
So does she trust what she's been told or trust nobody and use her idol tonight

Carolyn, Carson, and Yam Yam talk
Carson says it's between him and Carolyn tonight
Yam Yam asks if the three of them are doing Jaime
Carolyn says hell yes, they have to
She tells them she asked Heidi if she wants to do Jaime
Heidi walks over and affirms that she'd be happy to write Jaime's name
Carolyn asks if they're worried about an idol

Jaime and Lauren talk about Carolyn as the threat
Yam Yam comes over
Yam Yam says Carolyn is more dangerous than Carson, and he'll talk to Carson to vote Carolyn

Carolyn comes over
Yam Yam asks her what happened
Carolyn says people are obviously talking, and asks if they're all doing Heidi?
Lauren and Jaime says yes

Yam Yam talks with Carson, and asks if he thinks they can beat Carolyn at the end
Carson says he does
Yam Yam asks if he'd honestly say the two of them and Carolyn a the end
Carson says yes, but if Yam Yam wants to do something different, he's always been his number one
Carson asks Yam Yam if he really wants to get Carolyn out
Yam Yam says he thinks Carolyn can win
He doesn't think they can get her out at five, and he thinks she'll win the fire making
She practiced fire until she was bleeding

Carson (DR) says he's surprised that Yam Yam wants to take out Carolyn
She's played a great game, and everyone's underestimated her
She could win this game

Yam Yam says you have to trust your gut
Carson says his gut tells him Jaime, but he wants to do this together

Carson (DR) says at the same time, Carolyn's a loyal player and he likes loyalty especially if it's to him
They've been together this whole game so it's a difficult decision
It could be Jaime or it could be Carolyn

Yam Yam says he has a big conflict in his head of getting rid of Carolyn or Jaime
The number one reason to get rid of Jaime is throughout this game she's cemented a lot of relationships and she's a big threat
It might be better just to get rid of her tonight
But he knows he has a better of chance without Carolyn at the final three
Out of everyone here, the best game is being played by Carolyn, and his brain is telling him that he needs to take Carolyn out
His heart doesn't want him to do it
So the question tonight is does he have the courage to take Carolyn out
He doesn't know
He wants the money and the title but it's hard
It breaks his heart a little bit
It's stupid because it's a game, but it's not a game

They bring everything from camp

Jaime says tonight they can make the moves they want to see in the game
It's about jazzing up their resumes

Carson says he feels like at this point they are in some ways working together and then sometimes it is a little bit more jumbled
Sometimes you're working with a group and then the day of Tribal, they break up and that could be the case tonight

Jeff says to Yam Yam, big words, break up

Yam Yam says it's a huge word and especially at this point that they're gonna be coming down to five it's a concept they have to grasp and think about
It's really emotional because they're not talking about a stranger right now
It's 23 days living together that it's hard to say "I know that's the right decision here (head), and maybe not here (heart)"
If he was on the other side of the TV on the couch, he'd be screaming at him saying "that's what you have to do!", but he's here, he's not at the other side of the couch
The reality is it's one of them or him, and it can't be him
Or Lauren

Jeff asks Carolyn how much of this is emotional and how much is pure strategy

Carolyn says how she thinks is there's nothing wrong with being an emotional player and everybody here can attest to the fact that she has been extremely
emotional, but it doesn't mean that somebody can't be strategic who's emotional
She is both, but she has promised herself, her son, that she's not gonna apologize for crying, and when certain people in this game lie to you it's a big blow, it hurts
So she's not gonna ever deny that
It doesn't mean she can't play this game

Jeff says it sounds like tonight's vote will be emotional

Carolyn says she's scared, is this like her goodbye speech or something?

Jeff says he can ask it to somebody else

Carolyn says she got nervous for a minute, but yes there's not many people left
With this intimate group and intimate setting, they are all loving on each other and it's real
So it's absolutely emotional

Jeff asks Yam Yam how good he feels about the vote tonight

Yam Yam says he thinks the person leaving tonight is the person that needs to leave for everybody's game and that's why they're voting like that

You'll climb the ladder, to the top of the tower and race to solve a Survivor puzzle

The final four is unique because you can't be voted out
You will either win that final four immunity challenge and earn your way to the three, somebody will take you to the three, or you will fight in a fire making showdown to get to three

Carolyn says yes, she doesn't feel like she owes them anything

Carolyn (DR) says if Yam Yam is putting her name out there everything changes

Yam Yam says the other option is him

Carson tells Yam Yam he feels like something's up
Lauren hasn't even tried talking to him
Maybe she knows something else

Carson (DR) says Carolyn is causing paranoia where now he doesn't know
He's not sure if voting out Lauren is the right thing

Carson and Yam Yam hatch a plan to get Lauren to vote for Carolyn

Yam Yam asks Lauren if they were talking about him

Lauren says yeah

Yam Yam asks if there's anyway they can change it, and that he managed to get Carson to vote out Carolyn

Lauren says she'll be willing to vote wherever

Lauren (DR) thinks Yam Yam and Carolyn are still together despite their bickering, so she has to find an idol

Carson is worried that Lauren has something, and talks with Yam Yam about whether they should go for Heidi

Lauren tells Jeff she's probably the one that's gonna go home tonight, and speaks at length on her inspiration for playing the game
