The extended time has made these episodes play out almost like movies. If you haven't watched Survivor before, this would be a good season to get started on. There have already been some epic moments, and most of the "major" characters are still in the game.
The Challenge 39 (Wednesdays)
I'm a fan of the mixing of competitors from different shows into one season of The Challenge. It breaks up some of the alliances that have made the show boring and stale in recent seasons. This year, you have a group of competitors who've played but never won before, vying for their first championship. So far it's been good. The twist of having to compete against former champions to stave off elimination, and to keep money in the final pot, has added some intrigue so far. We'll see where it goes
Squid Game: The Challenge (Wednesdays)
This is a reality show (99% sure) adaptation of the Squid Game series and game. All of the things you liked about the show are present, with the added component of real, competitive tension. Whenever the players think it's okay to get comfortable, a new game or twist pulls the rug out from under them again, and no player is safe from elimination at any time.
Fargo (Tuesdays)
As of this writing, only the first two episodes have aired, but this is a series that's brought a dependable quality since its introduction. If you've never watched it, it's an action, drama, comedy with an eerie vibe constantly floating around. I won't spoil anything in this post, just know that it's a very well put together show, and worth a watch.
