Turner tells Monte he got the pitch yesterday

Monte says he figured

Turner asks if he got that pitch?

Monte says about why to choose her? Of course

Turner says he figured

Monte says he's sure she has a pitch for both of them. he doesn't take any offense

Turner says by no means. It would be wild if she didn't

Monte says yeah because at this point, it's like why come this far and not try to at least do something to assure your spot, especially when it seems like it's not happening

Turner says she said she knew he was going to pick Monte. She said she heard how he talked about how Xavier didn't pick Kyland, and she knows loyalty is important to him, so she knows he's probably not picking her, but she wanted him to know it would mean a lot if he picked her

Monte says oh wow, that was it?

Turner says yeah, well, it was a little bit more ... that was basically the sentiment

Taylor talks to Monte about asking Turner about taking her. She told him she knew it wasn't gonna happen, but it would be nice if he thought about it

Monte says as she should

Taylor says he didn't say much. Just kind of smiled. As she expected, but she's not gonna sit here and not do anything.

Monte says he's a pretty loyal and straightforward dude

Taylor says exactly how she expected

Monte says it's definitely gonna be hard making that speech and saying the right words to try to explain the thought process. He didn't sleep much thinking about what he'd say to Turner. He could tell Turner's wanted him to say the words verbatim, and he's just been like "yeah, of course" but he just hasn't said the words because that's just not in his nature. What he's gotta focus on is winning the damn thing. Feels like he's studied as much as he possibly could

Taylor says she asked Turner if he was studying at all and... Monte will be fine

Monte says he's gotten to understand and learn more about Turner and he knows what he would do well in and what he wouldn't. Doesn't matter, he's (Monte's) just gonna do what he's gonna do and take it from there, and make that decision. The more he talks about it, this isn't just how his relationship with Turner is gonna be impacted, but his (Monte's) life. He has to do what he feels his best.
