Putting him up as a replacement nominee if the power of veto was used. I had to tell him that and everything else was just offered up to me. She was like Turner and Alyssa coming back from Dyre Fest they clearly felt like they were on the outs so they wanted to form... I said girl, you must think I"m booboo the fool

Monte says with her, she needed to establish that because she was worried that one of them may win HOH and put her up, and target her. But she made herself a target. So she tells me in her conversation with Turner, she didn't mention anything about, she said that it was, she didn't share that she told Turner about the whole girls thing, that Alyssa or whoever was trying to start it. She didn't share any of that. She was leaving out so much that I was just like okay I can tell that you're not being very transparent with me. I know more than you're telling me. So at that point, I kind of just took it for what it was, but she seemed like she was fine with going up on the block. So was Alyssa, well, of course they're not fine but they understand

Monte says so... poor Turner's over here, and he's like I think Brittany could be your target this week. Here's my thing. We know how Alyssa is sitting in jury, and we know how Brittany would be sitting in jury if she were to be a final two. Alyssa from a competition threat is pretty low, but at the same time if she happens to drag herself all the way down to final two she's a much bigger threat to me and to you than to anybody, just because of the emotional connection that people have

Monte says especially if Turner's not here and he's in jury. So there's that. With Brittany, yes she's been running amok, she's been doing all this sort of stuff but is she that much of a risk when it comes down to sitting next to her or even in competitions. In this competition she showed to be pretty decent

Monte says exactly. This one's done and this was pretty rare. So that's what I'm feeling like I feel like in my mind, in my gut is telling me Alyssa would probably be the ideal one. I think Turner would probably prefer if it was Brittany based off of what he's telling me. And I know that you would probably prefer if it's Alyssa, so there is the conflict. So what I'm gonna say is I don't wanna make any concrete decisions right now because I've seen that opportunities present themselves throughout the week

All in hopes that it'll save their ass that week and I just hope that if you hear anything where my name is in somebody's mouth, to an extent that it's even Turner, then I'd be fine with having to make that move and executing on something maybe earlier than I had hoped because people have intentions that are not aligned with me staying here next week. You know what I mean? So we talked about our agreement with us. Looked each other in the eye and saying if you were to take that shot or I were to take that shot that we've got each others' back. I still hold true to that.

Like I see Alyssa and I see the appeal that she has to people, but at the end of the day I do also see that thi sis a game and I see that she has made some connections with Turner during his HOH and ever since then it's like completely different between him and her. And he's been willing to vouch for her for a long time
Taylor says I remember when Turner was HOH and Alyssa's like chilling across the bed, and I was like hmm. The vibe has shifted. no longer the fridge

I can't sit here and deny that but I think about scenarios and if the veto isn't used by whomever, and if it comes down to a 1 to 1 vote, because Turner would want to vote for Alyssa, you would probably vote for Alyssa to stay, I'm leaning toward I think we gotta get Alyssa out of here

Monte says but at the same point. Brittany brings up an argument that actually works against her because I don't trust her. She said "well Monte. as mental comps get more prevalent as less people are here, I feel like I can serve as an asset to you"

And this is the thing, for me and you, this is what I really want to talk about cause she was like yeah I felt like I had to do all this stuff to separate myself from Michael last week, and she was like I just wish I would've connected with you and Taylor more last week to make sure that we were good.

Monte says I mean Turner is somebody who logically, just thinking about the situation. He's got more HOHs than I do. He's made a lot of big moves in this game. And including what happened today. I may have beat Michael in the veto, but he can also attach himself to the HOH that named him as a replacement nominee. So his resume is stacked. So if I look at it very objectively. If I'm not thinking about relationships and stuff, I think about, here's somebody who is like a shield first and I know people will go after him and they won't go after me

I think about Brittany, she's clearly planting seeds in everybody's head. But also saying that she would be a great mental comp beast and that makes me even more concerned

And then I also think about Turner where it's like the only scenario where I would feel comfortable about doing that is if the blood isn't on my hands, and it's something that just happens.
