They see Ameerah going toward the Have Not room on the HOH cams. Paloma says she thought it was Taylor. Paloma runs out of the room and asks Ameerah where she was going, and tells her to come up to the HOH room.
Joseph says he feels bad about Michael, and doesn't understand why he was nominated, especially after what Daniel said about egos.
He says Michael probably looks toward them since he doesn't have anybody that he's associated with the way that they might be with each other.
Monte says the biggest thing they can be paranoid about is somebody being taken off, does Daniel get an idea of putting up somebody else, and who is that somebody else?
Kyle says he doesn't know if it's smart to go all out on the veto and take Michael down. So it might be worth just throwing it. He thinks Michael understands that it would put them in a bad position.
It just sucks that he's up.
Monte says yeah, it just makes it more complicated. They'll be alright though.
Taylor says you have to make moves in this game. If you don't, you'll be forced to do it.
Taylor says she didn't expect Michael would be nominated, but she figured Terrance would be. Backdoors aren't necessary right now.
Brittany says she would love to see a woman who can win those physical comps.
Taylor says she's sick of these physical comps happening, and there we go, the boys win.
Brittany says she still feels like being here feels so surreal, like she's watching this.
She wanted Taylor to know that beyond the game, it's important to her to see a woman who has that physical strength and show it.
Taylor says she might not do it this early, she'll let Nicole run with it
Brittany says she's supporting her with anything she needs if that should happen
Taylor says right now they're good, she doesn't know what this is going to be, but the best advice she could give is what Brittany did yesterday was so perfect, her ear to the ground right now is so valuable.
The power that you have in not having to make active choices, that social currency is valuable right now.
Brittany asks Taylor how she feels about the girls
Taylor says she thinks all the girls are nervous that all the guys are together
She doesn't feel that there's a sex traitor among them
She thinks the girls don't want to rally together until they figure out what the boys are doing
Brittany says she wanted Taylor to know that she would love to see at some point,
whenever it makes sense for their game, a girl to show their physical power because that's the show she wants to watch, and she knows she can't do it herself
Brittany feels like she's getting some "anti boy" vibes from the girls, and doesn't feel like she agrees with that
Taylor says if you're anti boy, you're easy to cut.
Brittany says she just doesn't feel that's a good game move
Taylor asks how she feels with Daniel
Brittany says she feels like she's in an interesting place with Daniel
She doesn't have anything to offer this week
Her hands are tied
Michael and Taylor talk in the kitchen about the nominations
Michael says he doesn't think at this point anyone is going to commit.
You watch on TV and you know everything that's going on, but when you're in here, you have no idea what's going on with other people.
Taylor agrees, she can't toggle between the feeds.
Taylor says everybody right now is playing a conservative game until real action has to move.
Michael asks her how she's feeling.
She says she hasn't had enough individual time with people, and she's just nervous that other people have had individual time with people, but you don't want to be the first one to make it happen either.
Michael says that's what he thought and he's got nominated
Taylor thinks Daniel is the only person people are talking real game with because he has power, and the same will happen with whoever wins the power of veto.
Taylor tells the Alyssa and Indy she didn't expect Michael to be up there
Alyssa says she's interested to see veto and if someone was to come down what would happen
She wants to gun for HOH as much as she can but she doesn't know what she would do with that
She saw an instragram live with Alyssa who said never get too comfortable because she did and she didn't see the cookout happening
Jasmine says she feels like she's between a rock and a hard place
Ameerah says she feels the same way.
To come out of season 23 and then start 24 evicting a black man.
Jasmine asks if she heard Twitter, they were going in, and said it was racist. And there's also America.
Ameerah says she does think Terrance is loyal.
Jasmine says definitely, but Michael is too.
Ameerah asks if he's talked to her.
Jasmine says he tried in the kitchen, but it got interrupted when Indy walked by. She'll have to get back to him
Jasmine asks Ameerah who she feels like she wants to get to know more.
Ameerah says out of everyone in the house, she has person she has the least relationship with is Taylor. She's talked to everyone personally except for her.
Jasmine asks Ameerah who her top 5 people are that she feels closest to, but she doesn't have to tell her.
Ameerah says their group, herself, Jasmine, Paloma, Alyssa, and Brittany, and that's it.
They see Turner on the HOH cam. Turner rings the doorbell, and asks to use the bathroom. Says sorry if he's interrupting anything.
Daniel says they're not talking game
Paloma says she can't be nominated that's another reason why they're not talking game.
Monte and Michael are talking in the Have Not room
Monte says it would be ideal if they could get to a final 7. Joe is very big on loyalty, but it's going to get down to that point where there may be people he feels very good about that he has to put on the block. He just wants to make sure he feels comfortable with that decision. He doesn't know where his heads at.
Michael says Joe can be a side person that they keep.
Monte says Ameerah is very lowkey
Paloma is all over the place but very smart and socially aware of what's going on
Alyssa is also very lowkey
and hopefully the girls can pull through on comps
Michael says as long as they agree that Joe's good
Monte says yeah, he's good to stay. Monte feels pretty good about what they have going on.
Michael says the only thing he's concerned about this week is the backstage thing
Monte says everybody thnks there's probably gonna be some comp between all three of the backstage passes
Michael says Brittany being up there would be best because
If they have Monte, Kyle, and Ameerah voting, plus Joseph voting for one of the other two
If they could just get one or two votes split between the other two people up for eviction, he knows he's good
Monte say he's seen other seasons where most people want to be voting with the house unless there's two sides
It's pretty clear that you want to be voting with the house
If they get Joe to that point, he'll be a vote
And depending on the narrative that they sell to everybody else, everybody will be on board with voting Brittany or Terrance out
Michael says he thinks Nicole and Daniel definitely have something
Nicole, Daniel, and Turner or something
They were sitting on the couch, Nicole was wearing Daniel's hat
He gets the vibes that they click very well, and someone else was talking about Turner today that him and Daniel are very good
Michael says he's gonna talk to everyone but also doesn't want to talk too much to people who might go back and talk to Daniel
Michael says he's thinking Jasmine might be a good person to talk to
Ameerah and Alyssa, if they talk in their room, that might be a good one
He doesn't know where Pooch's head is at in the game
Monte says he's a little bit of a wildcard. Love him but they'd had some thoughts about including him but came to an agreement that they're just not sure of how stable he is or how he's gonna move in the game.
Michael says he put up two of our people
Monte says yeah, the girls aren't too excited about that
Michael says it's not a good way to start
Monte says even Daniel maybe they'll be able to talk to him and talk about getting this person out
The backstage dynamic is really what's going to be the big thing
Kyle joins
Michael says he can swallow that he put him up first week, if they have to make some sort of deal with Daniel. He's not here to play revenge. If working with Daniel is the best move, that's what he'll do, and he told him that earlier.
Monte says he already told Daniel if he keeps him safe he's not even gonna look in his direction.
Michael says he left their conversation feeling really good yesterday, but looking back on it they talked game for 10 or 15 minutes or so, and he said okay let's go downstairs. He felt like they weren't done.
The silver lining is that it's not two of them in the alliance up.
Worst case scenario would be if Terrance wins the veto and pulls himself down.
Michael asks about veto picks. Kyle says he hasn't thought about it.
Michael says he's not going to do the shortsighted thing that could blow them all up, but if someone wanted to volunteer, or if they just want to throw it, or he just picks odds.
Monte says if they pick Joe they might be able to talk through the Have Not situation, and recommend to take Michael off the block.
And they might be able to talk to Daniel about taking a Have Not off the block, and he might understand.
Kyle says he thinks that's fine but they just have to be cautious about that because with them being the four Have Nots it might come off like they're working together.
Monte says he thinks best case scenario would be Michael wins veto and Daniel puts someone else on the block.
Kyle says everyone is saying the exact same thing, so maybe Daniel didn't say anything to anyone.
Monte says Daniel doesn't want to be the person to make a big move this early being that he's strong himself. So maybe somebody like a Jasmine or Indy or something. He put up two males so it might be like he has no choice.
Monte says he does have some paranoia, maybe this is an opportunity to put up a big player.
Kyle asks Michael who he thinks would take him off the block
Michael says it would be Brittany and she can' t do anything
Kyle feels like Nicole has that instinct to take care of people
When he's with her he does the innocent, goofy, teach me how to do stuff, and she responds to that
so Michael could go to her and do that
Look for someone who's trying to help
Michael says he just wants to know what's going on with the backstage stuff
Michael asks if Kyle has any kind of read on Indy
He says he hasn't talked any game with her but she has a big heart, so playing on that, being vulnerable, she might respond to that
Monte says he thinks she really identified with Michael's story. She really connected with him because of her friend and whatnot. Not to say to use that, but there's like a closer bond now.
Kyle says he thinks the pool table is a good place to get in with Pooch and Turner. Those guys being kind of "the bros"
Being involved with them and being a bro, they'll be on his side too
He thinks they want some kind of bro thing to happen
Michael says he hasn't talked to Pooch but he told him he appreciates him not putting him up for the backstage pass
Monte says he still has a lot of faith in Joe
Michael says yeah he just wants to make sure that even if Joe's not in the alliance, they're gonna take care of him
Monte says like a shadow 7
He's the homie for sure
Monte says his gut tells him Terrance isn't going to campaign too hard. He's not in any solid alliance
He says in his conversations with Terrance he said he thought he was talking game with Daniel but it must not have been what he thought
Monte says Terrance doesn't have 5 people committed to backing him
Michael says he thinks it's good to have that peace of mind of having people in all the rooms
Monte says they're not going to be Have Nots next week and now they're going to be in those rooms
Kyle says he doesn't think some people in the house are going to handle being Have Nots as well as they have.
There could be some drama
Kyle says he had the exact same conversation as Michael with Daniel, and also felt rushed
Michael says that puts into context the tall and strong thing, he's tall, but he doesn't have the other thing
Michael leaves the Have Not room
Kyle tells Monte there's something to keep in mind, that he had a gut feeling that they should keep their distance from each other, but he should know that one to one they're good
Monte says he thinks that might be something he has to be more conscious of
How things are being perceived
He thinks Paloma and Alyssa do great job of that
Monte says in the DR he thinks they want him to have a thing with Taylor. He asks Kyle if they've asked him about anyone. He says no.
Paloma and Turner are talking
Paloma says she feels really good about Daniel
Turner asks who the f*** is Daniel
Paloma says the HOH.
Turner says at this stage it wouldn't make sense for there to be a big alliance
He says in the Have Nots room, he knows Michael is in there with them and he's cockblocking the idea of an alliance.
Paloma says if it was just the three of them in there with Joe, they're all personal trainers...
She asks him if he thinks she's really close with Alyssa because she is
He says yeah.
She says she knows and she's like they need to stay the f*** away from eachother
She says they shouldn't be together all day. Like the cookout, that's why they were successful.
Back to Kyle and Monte
Kyle says he and Turner were talking game, and there was a fire in him and he wanted to talk game, and he hasn't really heard from him since, so he wonders if he went...
Monte says "and started talking game to someone else."
Monte says he was in the kitchen and Turner came up to him and said yo come up to the Have Not, and he didn't want Joe to come but Joe came. He thinks Monte wanted Monte, Kyle and Pooch to make something.
Should they just roll with the alliance and shadow it a little bit.
Kyle says yeah, can't say no.
Monte asks if they should keep it on the low with the girls. His thinking is that the girls are depending on them. He doesn't think they have a girls alliance.
Kyle says they're all so different
Monte says he wants them to win comps but he thinks they're looking at the guys to win comps.
Kyle says if they make the alliance with the guys they can't tell anybody.
Kyle says he guarantees America loves Jasmine, she's like the sweetest girl.
Kyle checks the HN door. Says he's just paranoid about that.
Kyle says they need to come up with two or three stories, like fitness or something, so that as soon as they hear someone, they can just jump into a conversation like nothing
Kyle says they need to come up with two or three stories, like fitness or something, so that as soon as they hear someone, they can just jump into a conversation like nothing
Kyle says it happened today. Turner walked into a room and saw him and he was like oh we're not talking game
If you're talking about it, Kyle says he would just come in and join the conversation, you don't have to announce it
Kyle doesn't remember who Turner was there with
Monte says he's trying to get a good read on Turner too
Kyle thinks it would just take one conversation to gain Daniel's trust and just continue it.
He hasn't had game conversations with Nicole
Feels great about their relationship but hasn't once talked like I have your back you've got mine, which is important because everyone's having those conversations
Kyle says he hopes he didn't discourage Michael too much about the veto.
Monte says Michael knows. He knows that that's a bad thing for his game long term. Joe is the ideal person to win the veto.
Monte feels good about him and Joe's relationship
Kyle says he's tight with Joe, he feels like he's growing on Joe.
Monte says he feels pretty good with Daniel following through with not putting up threats. Thinks they're in a pretty good spot, just gotta keep their head on a swivel.
Kyle says this is day 3.
It's just those one on one conversations, you learn so much, and no one wants to have them right now.
Joe comes in.
Joe asks what they're thinking if one of them wins the veto
Monte says it's tough
Assuming Daniel put these people up because he wants to keep nominations the same, he doesn't want to rub him wrong way by forcing him to make a decision to put somebody else up
At the same time, Michael's been a Have Not this week
He almost feels like if he wins he would feel terrible having to keep him on the block
Joe says that's his problem
If he won veto and Daniel decided not to use it...
For all three of them it wouldn't look good to a Have Not on the block
Monte says he agrees
For their personal relationship with Michael, it doesn't feel like it would rub him the right way
Joe say a part of him feels bad but at the same time he doesn't want to get involved, but...
Monte says that's part sucks
It sucks that he had to go on block
He thought they had good thing going with the Have Nots situation
Joe says Michael was the first volunteer
Kyle says Michael was the reason he volunteered
Joe says Michael said he was the first but he doesn't remember, but he knows he himself wasn't the first
Monte says it'd probably be good for them to check in with Daniel again and see where his head is at
Joe says he wants to have open dialogue with him
Kyle says and if one of the nominees wins veto he can still put one of them up
Joe says you've gotta be nice but you've also gotta be like...
Kyle says you have to benefit his game moving forward
He just thinks that using the veto draws so much attention from the house
It puts Daniel in bad spot
Joe says its hard
He's trying to respect his decision but it sucks
Joe says the three of them should definitely talk to him
