It'll be interesting to see how Cirie navigates around Izzy, and Jared for that matter, going forward.
Kirsten, I think is doing a little too much right now. It takes a certain skill to play hard early without your game falling apart, and right now at least, this isn't it.
It reminds me of Ameerah last year, where I wasn't sure if she was playing an intentional or clumsy game, but it didn't look good. We'll see over the next few days.
I wish the live feeds came on instantly after the live show instead of waiting for the west coast episode to air. I think there's some information that we don't have directly.
There are already several different storylines going on, and multiple levels of gameplay.
Many of the houseguests talked very little game yesterday, which isn't a bad thing, but I wonder if some of them had already established certain relationships within those first three hours that we didn't see, giving them some level of comfort. We'll see.
11:08 AM BBT: Cirie sits with Felicia in the living room
Jared passes by
Cirie says she likes him
Felicia agrees and says he's nice, then says he's from Georgia too. Her, Jared, and Cameron
Cirie asks where Jag is from, and remembers Washington
Felicia says Kirsten is connecting, or she thinks she is. She's gonna be the mess. She just wonders if people are paying attention. Several people have already picked up on it
Cirie says she just can't sit there herself and try to get in that conversation. She doesn't want to try so hard
Felicia says right off the bat, Kirsten is coming up with theories, and it's like where does she get this from?
Felicia says she asked America what her and Kirsten talked about last night, and America said just paranoid, and she told her not to do it again. Don't pull her out the room and make it look like she's part of any crazy conversation, because she thinks what Kirsten's saying is unwarranted. She didn't want to tell her no, but she told her not to do that to her again
Cirie says if America felt open enough to tell her that, she likes that
Felicia says America told her Kirsten is so paranoid it's crazy, and she doesn't want to be a part of it. She didn't appreciate what Kirsten did last night. She got up just because she didn't want to say no but she told her please not to do this to her again
Cirie says Kirsten came to her and told her how she wants to save her and yadda yadda but she hasn't had one conversation with her since that, besides with the group
Felicia says that makes her believe that Kirsten is setting up all these different alliances and thinking people are buying into it, and then when she leaves their group, she goes to another one and says they asked her to be in an alliance
Cirie says she's hopes not
Felicia says she thinks she is because she's watching how Kirsten's being very deliberate in being one on one, she's never with a crowd
Cirie says if she's the HOH and she says you're good...
Kirsten says she told Reilly for her it's about feeling confident and capable about doing stuff, she was hoping this is a time where she could learn how to do that, and Reilly told her she understands
She knew Reilly would be a strong competitor. There are a couple of people, the ones who were getting out of those chairs (?), they need to look out for them because if they're socially that good already
Cirie says it's their whole room
Kirsten says she got word that Matt had eyes on her as soon as she sat down, but then she got up to go talk to Blue, and let him and Reilly sit next to each other, so somebody else said her and Matt were done as soon as she got up because Reilly's been... That was the only area of concern she had because she sees Reilly eyeing her. Not every girl is a hater, and she doesn't believe Reilly to be that but there's no way she would ever put a guy over
Cirie says Reilly is playing all innocent but she's a beast. They see that already
~2:43 Jared talks with Matt and Luke in the storage room, and says he keeps thinking about when is it going to be the time to talk game. He thinks nominees are tonight. Taking two off, which technically means you're putting two up
Matt says basically but you don't get to choose
Jared says yeah, he's almost positive the veto is gonna be tomorrow, so if the veto is tomorrow that means the nominee has to be taken down
Matt says that's fast
Jared says it's gonna be so hard to try to talk to somebody especially because Reilly is so nice. Trying to talk to somebody about voting somebody out this early is gonna be hard. This is why he told people he talked to yesterday that on the third or fourth day, believe it or not it's already gonna start making waves in the house because somebody has to make a decision at some point
Luke says that's why he was like "do I really wanna win this?"
Matt says he thinks this is the worst one to win because you only have the option of four people and you're picking two so that's more personal rather than like you guys were last
Luke says that's usually the safest bet is you guys were last
Matt says he feels like this is more personal because you only have four to choose from and you can only save half
Jared says what's gonna be worse is out of the two you choose, if one of them come down, they're gunning straight for you because they're gonna take it personally because right now what's the reason to put somebody up? They're gonna take it personal. That's why he was like he wishes he did the Hold On
Matt says he has to start talking to Reilly
Jared says he talked to her a little bit. He feels solid with a few people in here
Luke says he thinks Jared is safe honestly if he had to guess
Blue walks into the storage room
Blue leaves
Jared says out of the five (Phalanx) he's cool with the two of them. He doesn't want to be cliche, but he's expecting the unexpected
Luke says Reilly is powerful. He's genuinely impressed. The fact that he was up against her, he doesn't feel as bad now
Jared says she's really good. He saw it yesterday. He thought Cory was gonna be first out, Reilly seemed like she had endurance. He wanted to do that comp so bad, but Cory did it. When they walked in, Cory walked straight to that. He (Jared) sucks at puzzles, he didn't want to do that or the goo. He thinks the three of them are solid, for sure.
Matt says they have to get some of the others
Jared says the best thing about this is that they make relationships outside of this relationship. Whatever with the Phalanx 5 but, they kinda know
Luke says they'll come up with another name, something a little more permanent
Jared says if they lock in themselves, and everybody kind of builds their own relationships with everybody else, he thinks it'll keep them pretty safe. Each builds their own network, and at the end of the day they have to come together. That's what the Cookout did. They were super cool and nobody knew, and they had so many people outside
Luke says he didn't see it, and asks if that was season 24
Jared says 23 maybe
Matt says it was 23
Jared says what they did was like that, and asks who he feels solid with outside of this
Matt says Jag
Jared says he likes Jag, he seems very honest
Luke says he impressed him with that balance beam thing
Matt says Jag and Reilly
Luke says she's a comp beast
Jared asks Luke who he feels solid with outside of this
Luke says he thinks Jag and Reilly
Jared says he likes Blue
Luke says he didn't see her perform, he wants to know if she was good at the puzzles
Jared says he thinks Blue is pretty cool
Matt says he thinks right now it's about getting numbers
Luke says that's a good point. Red's tight but he's probably dangerous as hell. He feels like he's too good. He likes Red but
Jared asks if they doesn't trust Red
Luke says it's not that he doesn't trust him
Matt says he thinks Red has other options
Jared says to run through some names, and asks how they feel about Hisam
Matt asks about Kirsten
Jared shakes his head, not at all. That's why he said the Phalanx 5 thing. She as already talking. Like some people came up to him and was like they better be careful
Luke says that's why the name's good, nobody's gonna remember it
Jared asks if they could say who they don't trust, who would it be?
Luke says he doesn't trust Cory
Jared says and he's super smart
Luke says he knows he's a superfan, he's got the look
Jared says it's not that he's smart, it just scares him because
Luke says it's conniving
Jared says conniving more than loyal. He feels loyalty with them more than he feels like they're just playing this to make a move eventually, even though at the end of the day, they all came here to win the game. Obviously at some point, they're gonna have to... but as of right now he feels loyalty. With Cory, he feels like "can I strategically", that's how he feels like Cory is talking to him, "can I strategically get you out of here?", and it's a little nerve wracking talking to him. He does this thing where he stands with his finger to his lips
Luke laughs and says he (Luke) does the same thin gthough
Jared says yeah but Luke reminds him of his guys back at home, so he already knows Luke is cool. So they say Cory, and Red, but he thinks they can trust Red
Luke says they might be able to but he's skilled as hell. He's social. He's just powerful, so he'd be wary of him
Jared asks how about a name they don't expect, Cameron
Luke asks who Cameron is
Jared says he's the guy with the hair, like Matt
Luke says he doesn't know what to think about him
Matt says he's iffy. He feels right now it's like the younger vs. the olders
Jared says if they could bring in at least one older person, like if they could get Cirie or Felicia, he thinks Cirie would be super loyal
Luke says he thinks they can pull in Cirie
Jared says and Izzy is super loyal to Cirie it seems like, so if they pull in Izzy, they've got Cirie, and if they pull in Cirie, they've got Izzy
Luke says he feels like Felicia might hit the block
Matt says Cory and Felicia
Jared asks if he thinks Reilly trusts Kirsten
Matt says maybe, they're bonding, girls
Jared says he'd much rather keep Felicia
Luke says ultimately it's gonna be Reilly's decision so it's like try to convince her, see if it works
~2:54 PM BBT: Kirsten talks with Hisam upstairs at the balcony
Kirsten says she's always been a people pleaser. She's so worried about getting to know everyone and helping everyone and beign a socila butterfly that she feels like she lost track of what's actually happening, like the reality of it. She realized that she was more focused on just being around but she doesn't have that same luxury as everyone else right now. She's like is she supposed to be more working oriented than people oriented right now
Hisam says he thinks developing good relationships with people is always important. And everyone is still sorting things out, and there is a lot of game left to play and there are lots of opportunities for things to change and his perspective is that good will never stops. SO he would put positive energy ou tthere, and he thinks she has to be mindful that she is playing a game, and to be strategically thinking who is she naturally drawn to, who are potential threats in this game, and she thinks there's a group that's already sort of formed something. There's still the rest of the house that isn't in that something. So just remember what Reilly will do with her HOH, how connected she is, who she's playing with, they don't have any control over that
Kirsten says it's crazy because yesterday somebody brought that up, the guys and people were saying it's not real that's not happening, who are a part of it, so she was like it's set in stone on day one, which is crazy
Hisam asks who was it?
Kirsten says Red
Hisam says Red has already formed an alliance?
Kirsten says yeah he's in it
Hisam asks with who?
Kirsten says the guys
Hisam says all the guys?
Kirsten says yeah. What he said was it doesn't exist, and he also said it's too early, even if something was formed, it's too early, it could implode. And he also said the gentleman that was in the competition, that was taken away (Cory) is part of it too apparently, and that was witnessed by a guy who said something about it, so she asked Red and he was adamant, but they were all in the room, and she was believing it, and then everyone's like you don't argue something so hard, how would you know that the guy didn't get a power? How are you arguing all that, and then people started talking about body language and stuff. It does exist, and Hisam pretty much confirmed, since he's the third person to say something about this guys alliance
HIsam says he thinks there's something happening, he doesn't know what, but what he would say is...
Kirsten says she's not mad at them, it's a game
Hisam says there's still a lot to wrestle out, and it'll depend upon what happens
Kirsten says with something like that with people who have the social aptitude that some of these people have, once they become entrenched and have followers, it's gonna be very hard to move them
Hisam tells her to just remember that there have been many alliances that formed early in the beginning but have fallen apart
Kirsten says she's saying with all of the people that have some of the social candor that they're saying, no top of other skills. If she were someone who was in a free range position right now, that's exactly where she would be trying to get aligned
Hisam says with them?
Kirsten nods and says at the end of the day somebody's gonna get steamrolled, and people are gonna be manipulated, and there are people who act, and people who react, and she doesn't want to be the one that's constantly reacting to sh** like this
Hisam says but between the two of them, the more vulnerable person is him
Kirsten asks why the hell he would think that. Does he know how much love he has behind his back?
Hisam says he would say that because if there is an all guys alliance
Kirsten says this is what was said about him. He's the person that would be in that alliance, and this is just between her and somebody she really trusts, and that's the only person she's had any game talk with since they got here, and they both feel like they got really good energy from him, and she doesn't know about the rest of the house but for somebody who she doesn't even know, they're from two different backgrounds, everything about them is different, and they both feel the same way about him, that says a lot about him, and so that he would hypothetically be a part of that but have his loyalty wherever he decided to put it, but he'd still be part of it. Because at the end of the day, realistically, four seconds differentiate him from being in that, and everyone's gonna see that. Today she bombed this competition. She got knocked out in the first 14 seconds. He was standing at the podium at the time. Yesterday, he was right behind Matt in a similar thing, and he seemed to be extremely physically fit. To her, he's an analyst. He's sitting back and watching, calculating before he does things, but she says that to say he has a lesser presence. Matt is more of a target than he is, to her. Not saying people are against him, but he's more visible
HIsam says yeah but Matt is in the thing
Kirsten says she knows, but Matt is more physical than he is. Somebody who's more physical. Somebody who people have their attention on in that way but has an advantaged skillset above hers, she would want to work with them, whether people know it or not... She tells Hisam he's not somebody who's invited that conversation up until this time
Hisam says no one's approached him about anything
Kirsten says he doesn't make it very easy. When she walked up on that podium yesterday, before they even started the competition, she said "I hope you're thinking what I'm thinking", that's what she meant. She saw his (energy?), and she was like oh yeah. She doesn't know if it's proper, she's not expert, but she's also a vibes person or an energy person, and she didn't know about his strengths, but she just knew they were both on this machine, she didn't know how he chose to end up there but they were there and...
Matt and Luke walk by
Kirsten goes back to talking about Red. She says she's very perceptive and she was in the room with Matt and Luke and Luke goes "what are you?" She thinks people are already (perceptive?) about her cognition of what's going on, when she really needs to be playing a different role. Pretty and stupid is the role
Hisam says he imagines it's probably all of the guys working together, but he's not in it. There's still another side of the house. It doesn't have to be that way
Kirsten says from what she saw, she thinks Reilly is working with them too
Hisam says hmm?
Kirsten says she thinks Reilly is working with them too because it goes her and Reilly and them
Hisam asks if it's Luke, Matt, Redd, Cory?
Kirsten nods, and says Reilly and Matt are...
Hisam says hooking up
Kirsten says she won't go as far
Hisam says he sees that they're into each other
Kirsten says her and Reilly are cool. That dynamic is something that she doesn't want to become problematic because, she's not gonna say she was there first, but she was there first
Hisam says with Matt?
Kirsten says they weren't having anything going on but he was (whispers) and people were talking about it, and what happened was she got up and left to go sit with Blue and Reilly sat next to him, and they were like as soon as she got up, her and Matt were done. So over last night, it got pretty late and all of this stuff was going on, and she kind of saw that Reilly was looking at her like trying to see like they're both eyeing to see what's going on but she doesn't have an interest in Matt, but she wasn't the one who had interest in him in the first place, it was the other way around, so it's like if her and somebody are now... but she was just saying that would be the stupidest, cattiest sh** ever, but she doesn't know if Reilly is that way, she doesn't think she's like that
Hisam says you can learn a lot from who she pulls down
Kirsten says she doesn't think she's like that, but she also doesn't know her, but she doesn't think she's like that. Before they sat down, she tried to talk to Reilly but everyone was trying to get to know each other, and they eyed each other like yeah they have to talk, and then they didn't, and then all that other stuff transpired, so they never really got to actually face to face on a genuine level.
Hisam asks where Cameron is in all this
Kirsten says now they're in a room together. At first people had mixed reviews, but he's really opened up. So Cameron to her is somebody who she doesn't think is easily swayed. She thinks he's his own person
Hisam says he doesn't know. On the very first day he (Hisam) said he's just gonna be him
3:07 PM BBT: Kirsten says that's the smartest thing you can do is observe, but she just wants to scale down this part of it a lot
Hisam asks if she thinks it's gonna get in her way
Kirsten says it's only getting in her way because she's a vocal person. You can have all that sh** going on if you want to but
Hisam says then yeah, calm that sh** down
Kirsten says she's about to, but she had to tell him because he's her friend, but she's not talking that sh** to anybody else. No game. She's emotional
Hisam says yeah, he doesn't know. He's not aligned with anybody. He thinks that most, he's friendly, and he's maybe not playing so aggressively. Maybe he needs to be more aggressive, he doesn't know
Kirsten says she doesn't know either. It was like people coming up to her, and she's cognizant about it now. She was like yeah but if it's causing her to vent about all this, that's something to look at too as far as being receptive about what's being said. But to her, the people who were saying something, they seem sincere. They just happened to share the information. They weren't lying
Hisam says they weren't lying about what?
Kirsten says about the guys
Hisam says he thinks they sort of went off pretty quickly. He doesn't know
Kirsten says she think what sent it over is that Red said he thinks Cory should go up. To deflect from that whole thing after saying Cory doesn't have a power, there's no way, and all this stuff, and the guys aren't working together, he then said he thinks if anybody should go up, it's that little fella right there. So that to her solidified how serious it is because now he's trying to flex. But she went to sleep and she left a lot of that sh** where it was at, she's over it. It's none of her business. She cannot be in this
HIsam asks if Red wants to send Cory
Kirsten says that's what Red said. If he thinks it should be anyone, but he knew what room he was in. Because they had just found out about the guys working together, and Red said something, and she said to be honest if there's anybody that they would want to work with, it's him, and he turned red, and crouched over, and turned the other way, and she hadn't peeped all this in the moment, because she likes his voice and thinks he's very charismatic, and then other people in the room said she needs to be careful because his body language and all that stuff when that conversation was being had and how adamant he was arguing that that wasn't happening
Hisam asks with him? or Red
Kirsten says Red. No one's ever said anything about him, bad or anything. She was just like realistically at four o'clock in the morning, if you're going to bat for 30 minutes about how something doesn't exist. She didn't people until everyone was like be careful. She thought they were all talking and whatnot but, that was not the case
Hisam says she's smart as sh**. He's hoping he has some group to work with
Kirsten says she thinks he has a good sense and she thinks he's smart because it seems like he's like an analyzation person, like he's watching rather than listening, and she thinks watching is always gonna pay way more
Hisam says he thinks that part of it is he's just older so maybe that's what it is. It's about relating. There's some things that he just can't relate to, he's much older. That was one of his concerns coming in, that he'd be older so he'd be missing some of the generational stuff so he thinks that maybe that's what it is
Kirsten says she thinks whatever he's missing is the stuff that clouds their judgement. But all she can do at this point is play the best game she knows how to play
Hisam says she's doing a great job
Kirsten says thank you, she just has to (collect herself and get quiet)
Hisam says yep, cut the emotions out
Mecole joins them
~3:36 PM BBT: Cirie talks with Bowie in the bathroom
Bowie says they're talking because they think the others are, otherwise they'd still be talking about the lights. Like oh sh**, we're playing a game
Cirie says it is a bit of worry but she doesn't have a worry with her. She really likes her. She feels like her energy is genuine. If her energy radar is
Bowie says she really wants to stick with honest people
Cirie says same. That's all she can be. What you see is what you get. If there's ever anything, just come to her, and she'll come to her
Bowie says same
Cirie says she's not "Bowie said" that little sh** they had last night, she's not doing that. She'll be like Bowie, can we talk? and she asks her to do the same
Bowie says she feels the same about her and Felicia
Cirie says Felicia told her, she feels the same way about her. She really likes her a lot
Bowie says that's hilarious. They've got the same sense of humor
Cirie says yeah so, there's an invitation (laughs)
Bowie checks to see if anyone's coming and says another thing to think about is she doesn't want to be standing with the, they have four girls. They need to bring in...
Jared and Izzy walk in before she can finish
Jared asks what they were talking about
Bowie says they were just talking about they feel safe but they're 100% not safe. Because if he wins veto or Reilly wants to change it up
Jared says he was talking to Blue and she said they can only nominate one of the other people who were the nominees
Cirie says not so, everybody is eligible including them. When he (BB) was saying it, he was clarifying that they too can be back up after the veto, but everybody could be nominated
Jared says that makes him feel better. It's gonna get...
Bowie says this is a very interesting way to do it, much better than the other way. Because they had to try
Cirie says it's the buildup. Nobody's hands are dirty right now but the hands are about to get dirty
Bowie says Reilly can look good by pulling some people down and then... or she can only pull two people down
Jared asks if Reilly's gonna pull two
Bowie says then someone's gonna win veto
Jared says it'd be crazy if one of the people win veto
Cirie says the head of household's hands, this first one is gonna be squeaky clean. She's gonna let them eat each other
Jared says she's technically nominating two people. Even though she's taking them down
Cirie says sort of
Bowie says she's also doing a good deed by taking two people down, which is good for her
Jared says but one of those two people who stay up are gonna come down and feel some kind of way. Maybe, if they win the veto
Cirie says if they don't win veto then it just is what it is
Bowie and Cirie name the nominees, Felicia, Jared, Kirsten, and Cory
Bowie says Cory might have some weird advantage. Something's going on
3:40 BBT Jag and Reilly discuss the HOH competition in the Scary room and celebrate Reilly's win
Reilly says this week, now that they have safety, they need to get numbers. She wants to solidify this week who she's gonna work with
Jag says the good thing is, there's not gonna be a lot of blood on her hands. There's already people on the block. Even if someone gets veto, they can figure it out. He says they have to talk because even he's been thinking about numbers or who else
Reilly says that'll happen. Once they get that room they can talk
Jag says even here, he doesn't want to be here too long. They probably even started celebrating too early. The door wasn't even fully closed
Reilly says she doesn't care. She's so pumped. They did the one thing they had to do. Because at first she was thinking she doesnt' want to get the target on her back so fast and have tha tblood on her hands so quick, but she doesn't know what BB is gonna throw at them this week so she'd rather just have the power
Jag says if this had been a normal week where she had to nominate two people, that's like a "why the f*** did you do that?" Now it's already people that are on the block and she's like, look, she's just saving two people
~3:43 PM BBT: Felicia comes into the room and says she wants to get ahead of the game, and she wants to talk
She says to tell her if there's anything she can do. Another week is another week
She says there's one person that she thinks that a lot of people are picking up on, and to be careful about that one person.
She asks Reilly if she knows who she's talking about
Reilly says she has two people in mind
Felicia says Kirsten. She came in and told four people she was gonna be in a four with them, and then she tried to get an alliance with five guys. And Kirsten told her to be careful of the crew in this room (the Hands room, Reilly's room)
Reilly says Kirsten came in like she can't sleep and they were like, is she spying on them?
Felicia says Kirsten is so paranoid
Reilly says there's no reason for that.
Felicia says three or four people have said watch out for that one, and she's just been keeping an eye on her
