How's everyone doing so far?
Well I hope you're all enjoying your new surroundings
Now, as you know, our motto is

Houseguests: Expect the unexpected!

Julie: Correct, ding ding ding. Expect the unexpected
And you also know that in this game, each week, one person will rise to power and become the head of household
That HOH is safe but is responsible for nominating his or her fellow houseguests for eviction
But tonight, for the first time in Big Brother history, nobody currently in the house will become the first HOH
That's right houseguets. None of you will be the first head of household
That's because, not everyone competing this summer has moved in
I'm sure you've all noticed that time is a theme throughout the house
So why don't you all head into the dining room, take a seat at the table, and all will be revealed

(The houseguests head over to the kitchen)

Julie: Alright houseguests, you should know that the table you are sitting at
is no ordinary dining room table
Here to give you all the details is the president and CEO of Meow Meow Enterprises

Enzo: What up houseguests. It's Enzo the meow meow, coming to you live from
Meow Meow Enterprises
I may not have been the best at BB competitions, but I happen to be an expert in
the spacetime continuum. Sure my time laser had some issues. You can roll the tape

(Flashback to Danielle, Brittany, and Frankie trying to use the time laser before BB25)

Enzo: User error if you ask me. But then something incredible happened.
I slipped in the lab
and hit my head. And when I woke up, I had a revelation,
an epiphany, on what makes time travel possible
And you're sitting at it
The Dining Table Time Machine

(Lights and machine noises from the DTTM)

Enzo: Oh Julie, I got Zuck on your line, can you take over?

Julie: Thanks Enzo, absolutely.
Alright houseguests, I can confirm, that this summer,
you will all be going on a BB time trip.
Along the way, you'll experience time altering twists and turns
that will greatly affect your future in this game
Now, I revealed that none of you will become the first head of household
But that doesn't mean that some of you can't earn your safety this week
Soon, this time machine will become fully operational
and you will be sent to the past in three groups of 4 people
Each group will compete against one another for safety
The winner will also recruit and bring back, a reality icon
That means, three, familiar faces, will be entering the game
And, competing with you for the grand prize
Tonight, not everyone will have the opportunity to compete for safety
Once again, here's Enzo to explain how to activate the time machine
and who's going to be left out in the cold

Enzo: Thanks Julie
There's one last thing
This is BBtonium. My time machine needs 12 units of it to make time travel possible
Scattered around the house are vials of BBtonium, with various numerical equations
But, there are only 12 correct ones that will power the table
The first 12 houseguests to find and put the correct BBtonium into the table's power reactor
below the memory wall will bring the time machine to life
So, which are the correct vials?
You'll have to find me at Meow Meow headquarters, and the number you need will present
itself
As a thank you, those 12 houseguests will be the ones who will travel through time
and compete for safety
Unfortunately, that means two of you will be out of luck and won't have the
opportunity to secure your safety tonight

I need everyone to gather in the living room, right now
Okay, it's time for 12 of you, to go back in time, and recruit three reality icons
Here's how it's gonna work
A date will appear on the time machine
The first four houseguests to sit down at the table will travel back to that date
Everyone, head to the dining room

(The houseguests head to the dining room)

Julie: Here is the first date four of you will be traveling to
July 9th, 1988

(LaTrice, Kamu, Mallory, and Rome each take a seat at the Dining Table Time Machine)

Julie: Everyone else, step away from the time machine

Mall culture has totally taken over
Although she's only 14 yrs old, that spunky teen over there is the reality icon you will be recruiting to play Big Brother this summer
Follow her lead, and, whoever wins this competition will deliver her a letter, instructing her to arrive at the Big Brother house 38 years in the future on July 9, 2026

Angela: Gag me with a spoon, I have this whole display to set up
Wait a second... I'm an assistant manager now. I don't have to do anything
You posers can all do it for me
When I say get to work, you each must attempt to balance 8 pieces of radical merch on your display rack
But be careful, these display racks are like totally unstable, and each piece of merch weighs like radically different
Such a bummer
But take a chill pill
Anytime something falls off your rack, just try again
Keep going until all 8 are balanced on your rack
Then you're done

Actually, when all 8 are balanced, hit your button, duh
And if your items can stay balanced for 10 seconds, you'll win my little challenge
Sounds bodacious right?

Welcome to the year 2018
Each of you has brought a letter from the future, but only one of you will be ale to deliver it
On my go, you will attempt to cross the river as fast as you can, using only two planks of different lengths
You must strategically place them one at a time, and figure out the pathway to the other side
The first person to traverse the river and hit their button, wins this competition and must head into the jungle, to secretly deliver their letter
Does everyone understand?
Okay, then on your mark, get set, go!

(Chuk wins, and goes into the jungle to deliver the letter)

Jeff Probst: Anybody...? this is wild

(Jeff reads the letter)

Your job is to eavesdrop on their conversations
and count the number of times they say
Bahama Mama, Fuzzy Navel, or Purple Hooter
In each round of eavesdropping, you'll be asked to determine what word was said either the most, the second most, or the least
At the end of each round of eavesdropping, you must lock in your answer
if everyone answers correctly, the last person to buzz in will be eliminated
The last player standing will win this competition, and their safety for the week
They also must leave a letter in the VIP section, so the VIP cocktail waitress working that section will find it

Alright houseguests, I know you're all getting to know each other
But we still have some business to attend to this evening
Twelve of you had the opportunity to travel back in time to secure your safety for the week, and Rome, Chuk, and Jason, you three were successful. Congratulations again
But we still need to crown the first Head of Household of the summer
Angela, Devens, and Rachel, since you three did not have the opportunity to earn safety, you three will now compete against each other to become, the first HOH
Now, I have an important announcement
The BB Blockbuster is back
Okay everyone. head over to the Dining Table Time Machine
You're all about to go back in time

(The houseguests all go to the kitchen and take a seat at the dining table time machine)

Julie: Okay houseguests, let's see what date you'll all be traveling to

Julie: As you can all see, it's the Jurassic period. Very very beautiful but extremely dangerous
I suggest you dress for the period, to try to blend in



(The houseguests arrive in Flintstones attire)

Julie: You have arrived in the Jurassic period. 175 million BC
Angela how you feeling?

Angela: Nervous but excited

Julie: Devens, how about you?

Devens: I'm just happy to be here Julie

Julie: And Rachel, how does it feel playing Big Brother in back to back summers?

Rachel: Oh gosh, you know Julie, it feels amazing. I'm surrounded by these icons and these newbies.
But I do have to say that I wish them all luck, because they're gonna need it
And if you take a shot at the queen, ya better not miss. Cause the queen is baaaaaaack
I might've left last summer, during the White Locust, but, nothing is coming in between me and my Big Brother double crown this...

(A velociraptor appears and heads toward Rachel)

Rachel: What is ?? This is crazy!

??: He's not missing the queen!

Rachel: Go away! What are you doing?! What is this?! Why are you so obsessed with me?!

(The velociraptor backs Rachel up the volcano)

Rachel: What is going on?! Seriously stop! You guys, I thought the dinosaurs went ?? What is going on?! Stop!
Stop! Stop! But I'm an icon!

(Rachel falls into the volcano [lmao], and the velociraptor roars)



Julie: Hello again houseguests
Well houseguests, I warned you it was dangerous in the Jurassic period, and its proven true
I can confirm, that Rachel, has fallen into the volcano, and reached her untimely demise
So obviously, she is out of the game
First the White Locust, and now this. She just can't catch a break houseguests
But, the game must go on. And I have an idea. I will find someone to take her place

Each week, viewers can vote for one houseguest to enter the BB Time Capsule, where they'll play a game and either win a power or be stuck with a punishment from BB's past

Once a player wins access to the BB Time Capsule, they can't be voted for again


First HOH competition

The three players have to build a "fire" on a stacking platform held up by ropes. The newbies who recruited the players will assist by standing on boulders and holding the ropes to hold up the platform. Dee gets the help of the houseguests who recruited Rachel.

The player with the least fires stacked will be first Have Not, along with their four houseguest helpers

They head to the Storage room and continue talking

Mallory says she thinks Dee and Kamu have to be working together because for Dee to put her up over Kamu is crazy


Yash and Lyric talk in the bathroom

It sounds like Yash is also on the block

Yash tells Rome, he's probably one of the only people he'd trust to win it

Rome says he thinks if he won people would think he's winning too much, so he'd probably throw it

Yash says he thought he and Dee were good. They had a good conversation, but something must've happened in the last day, and the only way that would change is if people were hanging out a bunch, and there's only a few people that were doing that

Barrett: I'll try not to look like too big of a fool. I feel closest to Angela and to Vince and to Drew. But that third one (clicks tongue). I like Jason a lot too, but, it's been very surface level. There has been no shred of game talk from Lyric, and this seems to be the vibe a lot of people have gotten. A lot of people assumed it was Lyric, Melody, and Mallory was the three, which I think to a degree that was true. I've gotten to know Mallory more ?? and Lala and Tay, ?? was talking today too. If I had to nominate out of the three right now, it might be Taylor, but ?? Josh ?? it's just he might be a good person to go after this trio since he mentioned them to me today too, and I haven't heard Taylor mention them. Then again I haven't talked to Taylor a great amount. Ashley's the funniest person I've ever met

Mallory says maybe they had a couple conversations, the three of them, but she doesn't even know how ot talk game this early. What would it even be. She's not HOH, she can't pick a target. So she feels like no one's done anything yet, so that could be a thing like Mallory's in a trio, but it might be nothing and her just being paranoid

Angela says her season the trio, everyone was worried about them but they were harmless. So, their four, nobody was like they should go home. It was a thought but no one ever acted on it because there was always ?? She's not compartmentalizing Mallory to that trio but

Yash says someone says he's not the target, so he's guessing that there must've been a conversation with Dee. And Dee told him they'll talk. Jason told him something after noms that confirmed he's real as fuck

Dee: So many people ?? give you ideas. I'm discerning who's bullshitting, who's not. I've been like a whirlwind. I'm worried, Yash, he seems like he's a good competitor. I haven't seen anyone compete. His mindset is right, which is like good thing

Dee: Even Mallory she was a little frazzled. I was thinking when it comes time to compete, she might freeze up which was a good thing, picking those ?? people. So how do we go about this?

Taylor: So my first thought process is, at this point of course the 3 nominees, you expect if they win they take themselves off

Taylor: But she has two allies which makes her chances greater. So if one of them two wins, you might have to pull the "keep the nominations the same"

Dee: But do you think if one of the two wins, they'll save Mallory? It feels like Melody for a fact

Taylor: I think you would have to tell them

Taylor: They still can, what do you mean do it? They would still do it?

Dee: Let's say Melody wins and she uses the veto on Mallory, that's terrible

Would you be open to telling them to take me off the block? Because the whole point is if somebody's an ally to you, keep them in the game. You never know. So Mallory might win that, and then at this point you really tossing it in the air for the house to choose, because you're saying choose Mallory and Mallory's gone, it tosses back up. Now Yash is a bigger threat in the house, so it might be smarter to get him out, but you just never know. Ain't no telling how his game talk is going

Dee: And he seems to be making his rounds. So how do you want me to go?

Taylor: I would say if Melody wins, tell her don't use it. I feel like if Barrett wins, I think they're pretty cool but Barrett's kind of. You might be able to tell him don't use it
