His thoughts on that would be he would rather keep putting Jason up and eventually count on him losing, than to lose power and be nominated by Mallory especially if Mallory is saying straight up she'd put up Dee, Devens, and Jason if he's still here, but if someone is a good competitor and they're saying they're targeting two in their alliance, that person needs to go. If they're talking risk/reward, what's the risk of Lala here? She skates by they take her out later. The risk of keeping Mallory, she wins and puts up Dee and Devens

He just feels like if they have a shot to take out one of their best people socially and competitively and they take out Lala instead, for him, Drew asked him as the HOH, he would feel like that is a wasted week. Like we did all this to set ourselves up to take out Jason or Mallory, they both played in veto, and we beat both of them, and they're both there and we take out Lala? That would be a wasted HOH

Drew says he'd hate to piss him off. He took the shot, and the same way they backed Devens up they have to back him up. That's how alliances work in his mind. He's sticking his neck out for all of them
