Owen tells Sami they need to talk to Gabler

Sami (DR) says at Tribal Council, everybody wanted to vote out Jeanine because it was the easy and simple vote but it's not what he wanted to do. He didn't have the numbers to take somebody else out. He's ready to shake up this game at this point and they have to start picking off the people at the top.

Owen calls over to Gabler to talk

Sami (DR) says Owen was the only one left out of the vote again, so he has to make sure he knows that he's willing to work with him going forward

Owen says he was at the well with Sami and James. He said if it's Jeanine, just tell him, he'll do it. They said nope, it's Ryan

Owen (DR) says he's kind of pissed with James because he lied to his face minutes before tribal and told him to vote for Ryan

Sami says he was supposed to go with Owen but then James tattled. He insisted on coming because all day he's been watching him. He doesn't want him to tell Owen. He wants to leave Owen out of it.

Owen (DR) says Jeanine is not who he wanted to see going home but he's grateful that Gabler told him at the last second where the votes were going.

Sami tells Owen that James was the only one that didn't want him to know. They wanted him to know but everyone was too scared to do it.

Owen says everyone's scared of this guy.

Owen (DR) says James wanted him left out of this vote and he's sick of it. It's time to get him out.

James says to Owen he odesn't know if he wanted to talk or not

Owen says not really

James says okay.

James (DR) says Owen's mad at him that he got left out of the vote. Owen is not on his side.

Karla asks James what happened.

James says he called to Owen and he said "What", and asked if he wanted to talk. and Owen said "no". Owen wrote his name down the last two Tribal Councils and he's still cordial.

James (DR) says Owen voted for him before and he doesn't trust him. And Jeff was asking about the social contract, the social contract is if you break trust with James, you go home.

Immunity Challenge

For today's challenge, they're gonna hold onto a handle clamping a ball between a set of jaws. At any point they lower that handle, their ball will drop and they're out. There is a twist to today's challenge. Ten players are gonna be divided into two teams of five, which means one person from each team will win immunity. So there are two immunity necklaces. Both groups will go to tribal council separately and vote somebody out. So two winners, two people going home. In addition, the last person left standing for the entire challenge earns a reward for their team of five.

The reward is peanut butter and jelly. In addition, they also get the advantage, the winning five, of going to Tribal Council last. So they get to see what happens at the first Tribal Council.

Red team
Cassidy
Jesse
Gabler
Ryan
Cody

Blue team
Owen
Sami
Noelle
Karla
James

Jeff counts them in to lift up, and when they lift up, they release the ball to start.

You have to keep pressure on your handle because that's what's keeping the ball trapped. Your hands can't come off of the bar.

Jesse is out first for the red team.

Noelle's ball rolls but she recovers.

Cassidy's ball rolls but she recovers

Cassidy's ball drops (red)

Noelle's ball drops (blue)

James' ball drops (blue)

Gabler's ball drops (red)

Owen says he can't last too much longer

Sami says he's got it, he'll be good

Sami's ball drops

Karla wins immunity on the blue side

Ryan and Cody are still in it on the red side

Ryan's ball slips but he recovers

Karla's ball drops

Ryan's ball slips again, but he recovers again

Again, and he recovers

Ryan's ball drops

Cody wins immunity, and PB&J for the red team

The five who lost are gonna go back to Vesi beach, that's where they're gonna figure out who's going home tonight.

The blue team will go back to their camp where they have the shelter and they'll go to tribal council last.

Ryan and Gabler talk.

Ryan says Cass tonight. Gabler says to make her feel comfortable. They'll tell her that they're targeting each other.

Ryan (DR) says he's been trying to get out Cassidy for a very long time. The first time he tried getting her out it didn't really work, but he thinks now's the best time.

Gabler and Ryan talks to Cody, and Gabler tells him they're thinking Cassidy. Her, Karla, and James are the three headed hydra who've been running things

Ryan says that's how it was at Coco.

Ryan (DR) says right now the gameplan is to break up the Coco tribe. He doesn't want to be told he rode their coattails, he'd rather say he broke them up

Cassidy asks Cody and Jesse what they're thinking. Jesse says he's thinking his vote is for Ryan. Cassidy agrees, and asks Cody what he's thinking. She tells him he's making her nervous.

Cody says he doesn't have a for sure. He's spent a lot of nice time with her. His thing is he wants to be here with people he likes. He wants to have individual conversations with everyone before saying "let's do this"

Cassidy says okay. She thinks if the three of them stick together, they have the numbers.

Cassidy (DR) says she's worried about tonight. She wants to believe Jesse and Cody and she thinks they're on her side, but you never know if Ryan's trying to make a big move right now. They could be coming after her.

Cassidy says she knows if they voted Ryan out, the other side would not be mad. And she feels like they could go farther in the game together.

Cassidy (DR) says this game never stops and it takes a lot to keep that fight alive, but she's not gonna let that fight go out in her. She's putting a lot of trust in Jesse and Cody tonight to vote Ryan out but she's been on the right side of the vote the entire game, and everybody who's come after her the entire game, she's sent home successfully so she's just hoping that it's Ryan tonight.

Karla says James is a crucial part of her alliance and she knows he wants to vote out Owen. Owen isn't really part of her alliance so tonight she's voting for Owen. But she does have to be careful because once you have to vote one person out of five that's when it gets dangerous, so you better be ready and hope that you can trust the group that you are in.

Karla, Noelle, and Sami talk. Noelle says "so..."

Karla says Owen. For sure.

Noelle says she thinks he's gonna go for James, and he's gonna try to sway her and Sami, so they need to talk to him and make sure he doesn't feel uncomfortable so he doesn't play Shot in the Dark. She asks Karla if she's good with that plan.

Karla says it sounds simple to her.

Karla (DR) says Owen is gonna be going home, and she thinks he knows exactly what's about to happen, and that's a really crappy place to be in.

James goes to Owen.

Owen asks what he's thinking.

James says he feels like it is what it is

Owen asks who he's voting for

James says that hasn't been made up yet in his head.

Owen says okay and starting walking away.

James says he's not trying to give him...

Owen says what is he supposed to do. How else is he supposed to prove that he can work with him? He did what he told him to do. Two minutes before Tribal he told him to vote for Ryan, and he voted for Ryan.

James says calm down

Owen says don't tell him to calm down. He did what James told him to do and it was the wrong thing to do. What is he supposed to believe?

James says it was the right thing to do because that's what they asked him to do

Owen (DR) asks who James thinks he is. To him it's implying he's getting votes. It's this mafioso style of bullcrap, and he's tired of it, and he's nearing his breaking point.

James says to Owen there were nine people on the vote and just he's mad at him.

Owen says he's the one that he talked to two minutes before Tribal

James says Sami was there too

Owen says Sami and him were gonna go. Who knows what Sami would've told him if James hadn't butted his way into that conversation

James says so everything is his fault

Owen says yeah, in his brain. He asked him what he's supposed to do. He did what he told him

James says everything's his fault (as they walk toward the others on the blue team)

Karla asks what happened

Owen says yesterday at the well he asked James right before Tribal if it's Jeanine, tell him, he will vote for Jeanine, and he told him Ryan

James says and what did he do the first Tribal Council after the merge? Put his name down right?

Owen says yeah

James says the next one, put his name down right?

Owen says no he put Ryan's name down the next time

James asks Owen if he told him he put his name down the first time he did it

Owen says no

James asks what's worse? Writing someone's name down or telling them a vote

Owen says he's going down to the beach

James says to Karla that the second the pressure hits, Owen starts cursing people out and throwing a hissy fit. He feels like they should go in there and put the votes on Owen and call it a day. Make it quick.

Karla says exactly

James (DR) says he has no sympathy for the guy and he has the numbers so Owen can go home

Cody asks Jesse who they trust the most. Who do they ride or die with? If they can get the numbers on the next vote, they're sitting pretty.

Jesse (DR) says tonight is extremely important. They have this 5-5 split Tribal Council and right now it's between Ryan and Cassidy. They only have a say in these five people here, but that's not to say that these five people don't have relationships back at the other Tribal Council. So even though it's only them five, it's gonna have a huge impact on their relationships going forward. So they have to weight that out.

Jesse asks what the benefits are of keeping Ryan.

Cody says Ryan's a good shield. He's a free agent all the time

Jesse says if they take out Cass, James and Karla would not be happy, right?

Cody says Karla would definitely not be happy

Jesse (DR) says if they get rid of Cassidy, they potentially make James and Karla very angry. They feel like she's a part of their alliance and he and Cody have voted with them twice now. But on the other hand, she's super social, super strategic, so that's a little bit concerning. If they send Ryan home, they're sending a challenge beast home, which is good for him, but Ryan isn't a strategic threat, so it's a tough one.

Jesse says also here, they have an advantage. They have the advantage of going to Tribal Council after. So they'll know who's sitting there on that jury.

Jesse (DR) says they're in the lucky position of getting to see who they send home, and that can impact their decision too.

Jesse says if it is Owen, then maybe they'd wanna keep trust with James and get rid of Ryan and keep Cass. If it's James, maybe they just cut Cass. Because then Karla's on her own completely. He doesn't know how Cody feels.

Cody says it's a huge vote, because they have to get their numbers lined up.

Cody (DR) says this is a super crucial vote because at this point he thinks people are starting to think of their final three, final five... They're getting to that part of the game where you gotta decide who your alliance is gonna be and make it strong now, because this vote is about setting up the final stages of this game.

Cody asks how they tell Gabler how this works.

Jesse says he thinks they just tell Gabler how they're gonna do it.

Cody says yeah, be straight with him because this is where they can get their trust with him.

Cody (DR) says he's always liked Gabler. He's been a pretty straight shooter this whole time and he's a free agent that will be loyal, and that's someone he wants to pick up.

Cody tells Gabler he wants to trust him 100%

Gabler says deal. 100%

Cody says the strong three is gonna be the two of them and Jesse.

Gabler says deal

Gabler (DR) says Cody approached him and said he thinks they can work together. That's music to his ears because he was thinking the same thing. He thinks he's positioned himself pretty well 17 days in where people are approaching him and that is crucial going into this point of the game.

Cody says he doesn't know what's gonna happen between Ryan and Cass. He hasn't decided where that vote's gonna go. He doesn't think Jesse has. Obviously, they know where Ryan and Cass' is going. He thinks it's gonna depend on who's out in the other votes. But he wants to be 100% ride or die.

Gabler says it's done. Ride or die.

Cody (DR) says now that Gabler is a rock solid pair with them. Himself, Gabler, and Jesse are driving the decision tonight. He doesn't know if it's gonna be Ryan or Cassidy but if tonight's vote goes accordingly, they're on the autobahn to the million dollars.

Noelle tells James she's gonna play her steal a vote, just in case Owen plays Shot in the Dark, they have a back up plan. So she's gonna steal Owen's.

James says so he can't play shot in the dark.

Noelle says exactly

James says makes sense.

Noelle says just in case.

Noelle (DR) says this whole time she's been telling people vote Owen out, but she is not gonna do that. She's been wanting to get James out of this game. He has Cassidy and he has Karla in his back pocket. He's the one that's kind of running everything. Her plan is to make James feel comfortable enough to no tplay his Knowledge is Power. She woke up this morning wanting to make a big move. She has a Steal a Vote advantage, and she's hoping she can pull off a major blindside on James.

Noelle goes to Owen and Sami and says she has a plan. This is what they'll do. She just convinced JAmes that she's stealing Owen's vote. James and Karla, don't think if she steals his vote that she's going against them. So she steals his vote, so she has two votes and Sami has one. And then James.

Owen says 3-0 James. He trust Noelle.

Owen (DR) says the plan is to use Noelle's Steal a Vote against him, but to not vote against him, and this is to provide the smoke screen so that James does not use his Knowledge is Power. He knows James is voting for him. But Sami, Noelle, and himself will turn the tables and vote out James.

Sami talks to Karla and says if the two of them aren't on the same vote tonight that's not what he wants.

Karla says same.

Sami says they know who the two people who are going to write eachothers' name down. He asks what's...

Karla says what's the best deal here? She thinks Owen's the easiest option for them moving forward because James is definitely with them, if that makes sense.

Sami says 100%

Sami (DR) says Owen and Noelle believe that he's ready to take out James, but Karla's opinion matters more to him than anybody else's right now. Karla doesn't want Owen in the game and he wants to work with Karla, and as much as he loves James, it just makes the most sense to get rid of him. So he needs to convince Karla that this is the right thing to do.

Sami tells Karla she has to listen to him and she has to listen good. He thinks it could be James.

Karla asks what's the reason.

Sami asks if she trusts him or James more

Karla asks why

Sami says he knows this sounds crazy

Karla says it is crazy

Karla (DR) says the plan is to vote Owen out, but now all of a sudden, Sami's like what about James? That just doesn't sit well with her.

Sami asks Karla how bad it would be if James was not here.

Karla says it's gonna be bad. They're gonna go against a majority that's gonna be like why the f*** did they vote James out?

Sami says if the vote goes with James, he doesn't think it's gonna be that bad. That's what he's trying to tell her. Owen is expendable because he has nothing. And Owen and Noelle, they don't have the Steal a Vote anymore, because she's gonna use it tonight. They will not have another time when there's not chaos going around.

Karla (DR) says Sami kind of makes sense. James is a strategic player. Everyone believes that he's been calling all the shots, however James is really valuable right now, and why would she get rid of one of her numbers? If they go with Owen, Owen's a simple vote in the sense that he's already been on the bottom. But she's in a decision making position because she's safe tonight and she has Sami voting with her. So she wants to make the decision that works best for her, but also works best for the future of the people that she says she's gonna work with.

Tribal Council Two

Jeff asks Jesse if he's surprised.

Jesse says he's a little shocked. James seemed to have a lot going for him in the game and he knows he had an advantage, Knowledge is Power, and there were some advantages at play in the last Tribal, so he thought he might be able to make a move, and didn't expect to see him over there

Ryan says he wasn't expecting to see him over there.

Jeff asks what's gonna happen when he goes back to camp.

Ryan says for him, he's gonna want to talk to everybody at the last Tribal. He wants to see where everybody lies. What really happened, so he can understand who's making moves. Who's shaking things up, because there were some alliances that James was a part of that's now shattered without him there.

Jeff says to Ryan, now that there's only five people, there has to be some level of concern for everyone.

Ryan says he agrees, and now when they hear their name on that vote it has a lot more ring to it. It's a lot more dangerous because three Ryans can mean he's out. So it's a lot scarier.

Jeff asks Cassidy what it's like when she sees somebody that she just talked to, and then they walk down to the beach with somebody else. What is she thinking? What are the fears?

Cassidy says at this point, you're starting to get used to it, knowing that it's an inevitable evil, but it is a little nerve-racking because they can be talking to you and then going and laughing about you to another person, so you just never know what kind of conversations people are having. It's nerve-racking always.

Jeff says Cody's in that great spot where he has no concern tonight but he still has a long term plan, so he still wants to influence the vote. What's the perspective, given this is the first time he's had the necklace.

Cody says the reality is he's the man of the hour, and everybody wants to talk to him, and everybody wants to tell him their story, and he's kind of just going this is a heavy position because, to Jeff's point, he's gotta look votes down the road, knowing that his vote in a 25% chance of each is going be heavy as to who goes home tonight and he wouldn't give the necklace up for anything but it is certainly a different way to view the game when you do have it on.

Jeff asks Ryan if it's clear that Cody was central today to everything because he has the necklace and therefore he knows he's safe.

Ryan says he noticed the conversations with Cody took a bit longer than the conversations people had with him. Of course when you're not being talked to as much, you kind of worry a little bit, but you do get your word in with each person. He knows, him personally, he has 30 pounds of giant clam shells in his bag, so if he gets voted out, he gets to take those home with him, and he's been lugging that around just in case he's walking out with his torched stuff.

Jeff asks the same to Cassidy

Cassidy says yeah it's tight numbers right now, so if one thing goes wrong it could blow up a whole plan. Whatever they do tonight is going to have impacts that will probably reverberate throughout the rest of what they see happen in this game

Time to Vote
Ryan votes out Cass (He's been left out from Coco from the beginning, so he's trying to get the power back)
Cassidy votes out Ryan (This is the final part of her revenge plan, and it's pretty poetic because she knows he's coming after her again)
Jesse votes
Cody votes

Karla (DR) says at tribal, they were split into two groups of five and it was a double elimination. At their tribal council, James went home and she was supposed to be out of the loop on that vote.

Owen tells Karla he's sorry he didn't tell her that they had this plan

Noelle says Sami talked to her right before they had left

Sami says Karla had to be in on it

Karla says she's glad they were on the same page

Karla (DR) says Sami told her very last minute what the actual vote was and so she voted the way everyone wanted to vote, but she guesses she's just frustrated because it's the first time people have planned to leave her out of the vote.

The other group rejoins them at camp

Karla calls for Cassidy. Cassidy responds. Karla says okay.

Owen asks if it was Ryan

They say it was Ryan

Owen says wow.

Cassidy (DR) says tonight at tribal, they sent Ryan packing. It was really satisfying to see that come to fruition and it was even made more sweeter by the fact that he was trying to blindside her again and yet she got him.

Cassidy asks Karla why James didn't use his Knowledge is Power

Karla says because they fooled James.

Jesse says he feels good not only coming out of his tribal but the outcome of the other tribal. He feels good about where things are. He knows where all the other advantages are at this point. Two of the idols are with him and the fact that she was going around looking for beads, he knows one idol is sitting in Karla's bag. Even though she doesn't want to tell him, they all know it's there.

Jesse tells Noelle that Sami is trying to overplay his position.

Noelle says she doesn't understand why. He was in the majority. It's not like he was on the bottom.

Jesse says Sami's trying to play every single angle.

Jesse (DR) says after those two tribals, he thinks there's a lot of distrust between people, and he's sort of sitting in this position again where him, Cody, and Gabler are sort of riding in the middle. He has a really good relationship with Noelle. He has a really good relationship with Owen, and their sort of alliance that they're trying to build. And he also has a good relationship with the other side in Karla and Cass. So he's feeling great about where he's at.

Reward Challenge

For today's challenge they're gonna spin inside a metal frame, slowly winding a buoy toward them. Once it crosses the line, they're gonna race to a series of obstacles to collect a sandbag.. They'll then race, get that sandbag to the top of a tall tower. First person to do so wins the reward.

The winner will leave and go directly to the sanctuary. They'll enjoy pizza, cheesecake, brownies, plus beer, wine, in addition, they will spend the night at the sanctuary and get a proper night's sleep with pillows and blankets.

Owen's first to get the buoy across
Then Noelle
Then Cody
Then Karla
Then Sami
Then Jesse
Then Cassidy
Then Gabler

Cody finishes the balance beam first
Then Cassidy
Then Karla
Then Owen
Then Sami

Cassidy unties the knot and is first to the Tower stage
Then Karla
Then Cody

Jesse finishes the balance beam

Gabler finishes the balance beam

Cassidy, Karla, Cody, Owen, Gabler, and Jesse are at the tower stage

Noelle is struggling with the balance beam

Karla comes close to winning several times

Noelle finishes the balance beam and gets to the tower stage

Noelle comes close to winning

Owen comes close

Sami comes close

Noelle wins the reward challenge

Jeff tells her that as part of the reward she'll also be receiving letters from home.

She can choose one person to join her at the sanctuary

Noelle chooses Sami

Jeff tells her to choose one more person

Noelle says the second that she came out on this beach this guy's been talking about family and she has to choose Jesse

Jeff tells her she has one last person

Noelle chooses Owen, who she says hasn't had a meal.

Noelle, Sami, Jesse, and Owen go to the sanctuary, eat, and read their letters from home

Sami says he's not breaking off. He's at the point where he's going next for Cassidy. He wants to get out Cassidy next, because he's not flopping back

Noelle (DR) says she knew going forward that Sami is a flipper. He has been playing the middle man and going back and forth, so taking him was beneficial for her game because she can keep him comfortable because he keeps scrambling and maybe this will reassure him that maybe he does want to work with Noelle.

Owen says they can pitch a 3-3 vote split on Cass and Karla

Noelle (DR) says Owen had the idea of splitting votes between Cass and Karla just in case Karla has an item. She wants to start getting the biggest strategic threats out of this game. So she's just hoping they can get one of those two and they will be golden.

Jesse says he feels like himself, Noelle, Owen, Cody, Gabler

Noelle says that's a good five. She's just terrified the girls are already saying her name.

Cody (DR) says those people at the reward, they're gonna go get a nice rest, they're gonna get a bunch of food and they're gonna have a much more memorable time than them. They're gonna be out there miserable and tired and really not talking that much. When he goes out for some cocktails and some food, he's pretty chatty. Wars, negotiations, sales, are all done over breaking bread.

Cody says to the group of four that he hasn't had much time with the three of them so it's kind of fun to get the opportunity to know each other as well.

They agree

Cody says quick strategy talk, and asks Karla if she's still skeptical of Sami

Karla says yeah, he's all over the place

Cassidy says personally she hasn't built any trust with Noelle or Owen

Cody says he feels like Owen is her new Dwight

Cassidy says yeah, that's what she's thinking of

Cassidy (DR) says she knows it seems like a total loss for the people who didn't get the reward but to be honest she's a big believer in, a lot of the time when things don't seem to go your way, there is a silver lining that you can find.

Cassidy and Cody go on a walk and talk

Cassidy (DR) says this is the perfect time for her to find out where Cody's head's at because she does want to have the numbers on her side because she thinks that would be really beneficial for her game.

Cassidy tells Cody she feels like it's time to start thinking about getting out the big threats in this game

Cody says yeah

Cassidy says for example, she thinks Noelle's a big threat

Cody says he wouldn't want to sit next to her

Cassidy says she's gaining momentum, the longer Noelle's here she feels like she's gonna cook up some more stuff. She's already made a big move. Do they want to give her a chance to make another big move and like build her resume.

Cody says no

Cassidy (DR) says it's absolutely getting harder and harder keeping everyone in this group on the same page. There's so much shifting in the game right now. These rewards are big. That bonds people, that brings them together. So for her she's just trying to make sure she keeps her allies strong, and keep them intact, but she never fully knows where Gabler is at to be honest and having him as a vote is gonna be critical for her.

Cassidy, Gabler, and Karla are together at the well.

Cassidy asks Gabler who he sees himself moving forward with in the game.

Gabler says they'll have to see who's gonna win tomorrow.

Cassidy asks how he feels about Noelle and stuff

Gabler says he likes her a lot. Personally she's like a hero inside the game to him. He's thought that since the beginning. He's said that multiple times.

Cassidy says she's a big threat, she doesn't want to go to the end next to her.

Gabler says they'll see who wins and then they'll have to make a decision, because then they're gonna have to make a decision.

Cassidy says she would like the vote with him

Gabler says yes, he would like to do that too

Gabler (DR) says he's positioned himself in a nice spot. Both sides are wanting him to vote with them and neither side is talking about voting for him, so he thinks that's a really good place to be. He's got options and options are really big in this game.

Immunity Challenge

With one hand you're gonna steady a balancing board, while simultaneously building a house of cards with the other hand. The first player to build the house of cards high enough to reach the finish mark wins immunity. Losers, Tribal Council.

Draw for spots.

The example uses a square structure

Owen builds a triangular structure

Cassidy builds the cards vertically inside of on their long side edges

Owen switches to the square

Cassidy layers the cards at the top flat, so she can place one final card vertically on top of the stack

Noelle lays a card stops, and gets the other card

Cassidy wins the immunity challenge

Noelle (DR) says Cassidy wins the challenge today and it puts a little bit of a hiccup in their plan today because they were gonna split the numbers between her and Karla, just in case Karla plays an idol, but now she needs to come up with a new backup before Karla can get something going

Gabler tells Noelle that Cassidy and Karla are up to something

Noelle asks why?

Gabler says they're looking at her

Owen asks if they're gonna try to flip Cody

Gabler says and Jesse. But Cody and Jesse are fine. Same would go either way if it saved him

Noelle (DR) says Sami, she can't trust the guy, especially with what happened at last Tribal Council with everything with James. Him telling Karla 10 minutes before everything that happened. But she gained a ton of trust with Owen. She has a great relationship and alliance with Jesse and Cody, and Gabler's a straight up guy, so she's 95% confident they can still vote out Karla.

Jesse tells Cody that they're pulling to take Karla out, but if Noelle does this and she has Sami, she has Owen, Cass isn't gonna trust him or Cody again, and then she'll have Cass, and then they're f***ed.

Jesse (DR) says yesterday he had a very emotional moment reading his letters from home and Noelle's the one that gave him that moment. So it makes it hard to think about potentially voting her out. But reading those letters, now he's using that to motivate him to make the best decisions for him and his family back home. So whatever he might want to do emotionally out here, the emotional commitment he has back home trumps all of that.

Jesse tells Cody Noelle is good. Every time they box her in, she finds away out.

Cody says she's picking up speed for sure.

Jesse says they can't have it.

Jesse says he sees Noelle as one of the best players out here. Every time he takes out her number one, she comes back with another number one, and she comes back stronger. And they see it in the challenges. She comes back from being at the very end and winning. So she's like always gonna find a way to fight through and make things happen.

Jesse tells Cody she'll turn on them very quickly. He wouldn't be surprised if she takes out Karla and then she takes out them.

Cody says yeah, she's gotta go.

Jesse says it's gotta be tonight.

Jesse (DR) says the thing is, when you're blindsiding somebody you have to know what you're doing out here. Otherwise it might come back and blow up on you. So checklist #1. You have to have a cover story. Noelle's on edge right now. She's a little bit nervous, he can tell. And because she's on edge right now, if you don't give her a cover story for every conversation you have, when she goes and sits on the log and starts thinking things through, she's gonna start wondering why you hadn't and what you said.

Noelle asks Jesse how his talk with Cody was

Jesse says it was good. He just wanted his idol back

Noelle asks if he had it

Jesse says yeah

Noelle says okay, now they're straight. No way that Karla sees it coming. It'll be so good. SO she wants Jesse to talk to Sami to see if he's 100% on board because he would tell him.

JEsse (DR) says he was already planning to talk to Sami because if he's gonna take out Noelle, he needs for her to split the votes, and he wants her to split the votes on Sami. He's not seen as trustworthy on either side, so he's just gonna help that a little bit.

Sami tells Jesse he doesn't know which way Jesse wants to go, but he doesn't want Karla to go just yet. But he's thinking, the people they were at the reward with, it looks like a lot easier route to go, but he doesn't think they could go to the end of the game with Noelle, doesn't he think that?

Jesse says he doesn't know

Sami says he doesn't think they could

Jesse (DR) says checklist #2, you always have to have a fall guy

Noelle asks Jesse if he thinks Sami would vote for Karla

Jesse says he thinks he would, here's the thing. Sami said he wanted to go with them, but then he said he's gonna take a shot at Noelle. So Jesse thinks they need to split the votes.

Noelle says yeah, three Baka guys go on

Owen says go on Karla. And then Noelle, Jesse, and Cody go on Sami

Jesse says okay

1. Cover story
2. Throw the fall guy under the bus
3. Have a backup plan

Jesse tells Karla that they're trying to ge tit so that the votes are split 3-3 on Sami and her. Because they're scared that she has an idol

Karla says okay. Then how many votes do they have for Noelle?

Jesse says himself, her, Cody, and Cass. It's 4-3. Noelle goes home.

Karla says she's afraid Noelle's gonna go for her

Jesse asks if she thinks Noelle's gonna flip her vote

Karla says yeah. If they're talking the way they're talking right now, she's gonna assume that they're voting with Karla, so that's gonna be a 4-4.

Jesse says unless they can get Gabler

Jesse (DR) says checklist #3, you always have to have a backup plan

Gabler and Jesse talk.

Gabler asks if they're still looking to vote Karla and Sami, split

Jesse says Cody and him were hoping that he would vote for Noelle

Gabler says oh, blindside Noelle

Jesse asks if he's okay with that

Gabler says yeah. Let him just think about this for a second because he's got relationships with Owen and Sami. They're gonna be torched by this, and they have to think about the jury at some point

Jesse says Gabler is smart right, so he's thinking things through. In this game, you can't just tell them to vote a certain way, you have to make it make sense. SO he was trying to get Gabler to envision his position in the game after this vote. He wants him to envision himself in the power position.

Jesse says him and Cody took out Noelle's friend Justine and then she got a friend Dwight. Then they took out Dwight, and then she got a friend Owen. And then she did that huge move in front of the jury.

Gabler says yes, correct

Jesse says so every time they try and weaken her

Gabler says she strengthens

Jesse says she's a warrior

Gabler says she is a warrior, and she's gotta go before they get too far, and they can get back in the middle to choose again tomorrow night who they want to go

Jesse says himself, Gabler and Cody would be in a very powerful position

Gabler says he likes it. He's writing Noelle down tonight.

Jesse (DR) says and that's how to blindside somebody. He's put everything in place. He has these cover stories. He has this beautiful plan, and he gets to just sit back and watch it all play out.

Cody tells Jesse he hasn't heard his name at all

Jesse says that's amazing

Cody asks if he's heard his at all

Jesse says no

Cody says he can't believe it. He really thinks they're steering the f***ing ship

Gabler talks to Karla and says he thinks it's gonna be okay, but he's a little concerned about Jesse and Cody. They're very powerful. They probably need to deal with that.

Karla says she agrees

Gabler (DR) says Jesse made a real quick move. He understands it. Noelle's a powerful player, but he doesn't like to be surprised, especially minutes before Tribal Council

Gabler tells Karla that they're running the show

Karla says yeah

Gabler says they've done several big blindsides and they're doing a big one tonight. So they'll figure it out. He tells her to take off. He'll see her in there.

Gabler (DR) says Jesse and Cody, they're the real power couple out here. So, tonight, he's trying to think what's gonna be best for him, and he's got claws just like anybody else out here.

Jeff wants to start with the reward challenge and one of the best examples of sheer determination he's ever seen. He asks Noelle if she has a moment where she might reflect on how that might inspire somebody who might find themselves in a similar situation, where they feel the odds are against them.

Noelle says she's gonna reach that one little kid that maybe has a disability and they're going through a difficult time and they get to see her on that balance beam struggling, and she's able to overcome it, and she's able to win the challenge. That's definitely a huge reason why she's ou there. Not only to prove it to herself, but to prove it to everybody who believes that they can't. If she could just reach that one person then she's satisfied and she's happy about it.

Jeff asks Jesse what it was like at the sanctuary.

Jesse says he and Noelle have been out there since day one together, and she's heard how much he talks about his family and his kids. The only reason he was able to read that letter was because of Noelle and she made him ugly-cry on national TV.

Jeff asks Gabler if they're in the operating room, what part of the surgery are they at right now.

Gabler says they lost wire capture, and they're back in the aorta trying to re-cross this stenotic valve. He thinks they're trying to figure things out. There's a little bit of a shakeup going on. He thinks it's going down tonight but it's a little bit crazy. There's a lot happening.

Jeff asks Noelle what she reads into that. Gabler thinks he knows what's happening, but it's crazy, and he's being vague.

Noelle says everyone has their own vision of how tonight's gonna pan out, so you gotta rely on the conversations that you've had but it's tough, especially 19 days in. You think you know someone but you could be totally wrong.

Jeff asks Owen if trust is once again going to determine tonight's vote.

Owen says absolutely. Trust always rises to the top and thinking about who has your back and who you can move forward with. He'd like to think that the plan that he thinks is going to happen is going to happen, but it has been proven to him and everyone there that that's not always the case. But he feels okay, they'll see what happens.

Jeff says to Jesse it feels like he's negotiating to buy a car but you never get to sign the contract which locks it in. It's always like "no we're good. You don't need to sign anything"

Jesse says yeah, trust is the currency out here and you just have to trust the people who have the biggest bills he guesses. You can't really spend too much time checking the bills as you would in retail or something, where you could hold it under the black light or write on it.

Jeff says because he's implying he doesn't trust them

Jesse says yeah

Jeff says to Cody there must be constant lack of certainty that the last conversation you had was the last one you needed to have

Cody says absolutely. The strategy talk changes throughout the day. Person by person., hour by hour. A conversation that he has at hour 12 is maybe not the same one that he has at hour 14 and if it is the same, is the body language the same. Are the eyes starting to wander off? Are the shoulders starting to change to see that they're getting uncomfortable in what they're telling you, because as that day progresses, they're talking to other people as well and they're hearing all these starts and they're trying to decipher which ones they want to agree with and they want to move forward with.

Sami says that's what makes this game so hard because he could be feeling really good about a conversation and you come out of it, but then if they're talking to somebody else for too long, and you wish they looked at you like that. But at the end of the day, something was said to somebody that wasn't true. It was him, it was somebody else, and they don't know what it's gonna be until they go up there and vote.

Gabler says what he thinks is happening is most of these killers now are working with silencers and that's what's going on

Jeff says he pointed this way, who?

Gabler says everybody. Everybody up there. There's not a grenade blowing up. These are very precision targets. There's a lot of work going into them and there's gonna be one fired bullet tonight and it's probably gonna hit the mark that he thinks it's gonna hit, but they're gonna find out.

Jeff says to Karla that was a very colorful story saying that they're assassins waiting for them to get right where they need them and then "fooh", you're done.

Karla says yeah, and that's the part that makes people nervous is you can't hear them coming. You can't hear their steps. You hope that you get to, maybe you open up one eyelid and you're like "I'll take a quick peek" and hope that you know who it is before it's too late.

Noelle says and also you're thinking in the back of your head, someone in this group, there's a very very great chance that they have an idol. That's another reason why they're playing this silent killer assassins game is cause they don't know what's out there and they don't know who has it. So trying to line up your target, it's scary because you could 100% miss.

Jeff asks Jesse, last question, if Tribal goes the way he wants it to go, how will it change the game?

Jesse says it will lay the foundation for the rest of his game, and he's gonna quote his son because he wrote Jesse a letter, and he told him to "get that money, baby". It will set him up to get that money, baby.

Sami (DR) says at tribal tonight, Noelle ended up going home. He thought he was in the numbers. He thought it was gonna be smart to get out Karla. But Owen and him were left out of the vote and he could not have been further off from what happened. He's dug himself this hole and right now it's hard to see how to get out of this.

Cassidy, Cody, Jesse, Sami, and Karla are talking.

Cassidy asks Sami if he voted out Karla

Karla asks if he voted for her

Samie says no

Jesse looks at Cody

Karla asks where that vote came from

Sami says Gabler

Jesse says no

Karla says Gabler didn't write her name

Sami asks if she's sure

Jesse says they're pretty 100 on that

Karla says she'll ask Gabler

Cassidy says she's gonna go talk to Gabler

Sami (DR) says he was gonna act like he voted with the majority. Then he realized he's already lied enough. He's done enough to get himself to this point

Sami says alright. He wrote Karla's name. Sami calls over Cassidy and tells her that Gabler's with them. She wrote Karla's name.

Karla says can she ask why?

Sami says 100%, he thought it was completely on the other side. He was thinking if she had an idol, if she played the idol and it wasn't the majority, that would be great because then she could split the idol and then Noelle would go home anyway. And she sees where it got him. That's where he's at.

Gabler talks to Owen and tells him he was trying to signal to him Cody and Jesse flipped. They told him about it last second, but here's the good news. He's got a plan, him and Owen to get to the final three.

Gabler (DR) says he knew Owen would be very betrayed by tonight's reversal of the vote, so he immediately pulled Owen aside as the first person he talked to.

Owen tells Gabler he's (Owen's) gonna lose, so... feel free to take him

Gabler tells him it's not as bad as he thinks, it'll be better tomorrow morning.

Gabler (DR) says he's in a very good position. He has a relationship with everybody out there. And even tonight, when he was part of a blindside, no one's talking about him as a target. He is hiding in plain site.

Gabler tells Owen he has a really good plan. Owen says he hasn't voted correctly once since f***ing Moriah. Gabler says it's okay. Owen says it's all good, and thanks

Owen (DR) says this is not fun. This is terrible. It's like getting comical at this point that he just keeps finding himself as the closest person to the person that's getting blindsided, and it's depressing realizing that he's just been outfoxed for the 9 billionth time. It's like Charlie Brown trying to kick the football, and Lucy's taking it away, and he falls on his back, always, but except, in this scenario, it's not just Lucy, it's Linus and Pig Pen and Peppermint Patty and the kid playing the piano, and it's like every single one of the peanut kids is out to get him and it's just like agh.

Sami (DR) says this is the first vote he's been left out of, btu he's been playing the middle for a very long time, and if you play with fire you're gonna get burned, and he got burned pretty bad last night. The letters from the rewards at the sanctuary couldn't have come for him at a better time because today is like his worst day out here. As his mom reminded him, he's gonna keep his head up, he's gonna put his shoulders back and he's gonna make the best of the situation that he's got.

Sami talks to Karla. Sami says he feels bad.

Karla says yeah it hurt. It doesn't mean that she's gonna cut all ties with him. She hopes that he is open as well if they're ever trying to make a move, he'd be down. That he would...

Sami says if they're down, he'll help them get to where they want to get.

Karla asks who was first to mention her name

Sami says the first mention of her name was Cass

Sami (DR) says at this point his best move is stirring up a lot of chaos, and so he had to lie to Karla about Cassidy. Why not to try to salvage way little relationship there might be with Karla even though he wrote her name down.

Karla asks what she said

Sami says it was mutual between her and him. They were like "oh yeah Karla, she's really good. I think we just need to keep an eye out."

Karla says yeah

Karla (DR) says she's freaking out a little bit inside because Cassidy and her have been together since day one of this game, so her dumb self told Cassidy about her idol. So she's concerned because Sami told her that Cassidy has said that she may seem like a big threat. She doesn't know how true or not it may be but it feels very true to her.

Cassidy tells Karla she really wants to get Sami out. She feels like he's on the bottom so he's gonna try to sow some mistrust between them. She just wants to try and get ahead of that in case he's trying some sh** about her.

Karla says no, he's not. Obviously, she's in a very vulnerable position because she also told Cassidy something that she hopes will stay between them.

Cassidy says it will

Karla says it's scary

Karla (DR) says CAssidy knows she has an idol and she's seeing her gameplay and it's very similar so that kind of makes her wonder. Is her closest person here, her ally, really her ally?

Cassidy asks Karla if she trusts her. Karla says she does.

Karla (DR) says she has to act first. Time is running out. They have six days left and if she doesn't go on the offense, this game is gonna be decided for her.

Cassidy tells Karla she would love to see two girls in the finale.

Karla hesitates and says yeah.

Cody, Sami, Karla, Jesse, Cassidy, and Owen sit at the sunrise.

Cody sees a boat.

Gabler (DR) says when a boat pulls up, it's always something monumental. The last time a boat pulled up, it was about 20 days ago and he went on a journey and that changed his game. So they knew itw as gonna be somethign dramatic immediately.

Message: "With only seven left in the game, any advantage is an advantage worth having. There's one hidden in your jungle. Go."

Everybody runs

Shot shown of Sami searching, and the idol on the other side of a tree. Cassidy walks right by the idol.

Gabler asks Cassidy if she wants to do a LRRP walk.

Cassidy asks what's that?

Gabler says Long range reconnaissance patrol.

Owen (DR) says they start grouping up for a search. Gabler teaches them about some search technique that they used during the Vietnam War. Looking straight, and left and right, and having a group recon tower situation.

Owen, Cassidy, and Jesse walk with Gabler.

They come upon the same are Sami was in. With the idol on the other side of the tree.

Karla asks if they should call it quits or keep looking

Jesse says he's nervous to call it quits because people are like "why'd you call it quits" and he's like "well, because I think somebody else found it"

Cassidy says she doesn't want to call it qutis.

Owen is right next to the idol, looking the other way

Cody (DR) says the excitement wears off, then you start thinking, you look at other people. Maybe they're not looking as hard as they first were. Maybe they found it and maybe they're just digging around for the hell of it.

Camera shows the idol on the tree right behind Sami.

Cody says the last thing he wants to do is know it was found after he gave up. He doesn't have that in him.

Camera shot shows Cody walking by the tree with the idol plainly visible

Cody says he would be embarassed to know it was found after he stopped looking

Cody turns around and misses it again, and walks it the other way

Gabler says they've torn this place apart that's for sure, as he walks toward the tree.

Cody says he thinks somebody probably found it already

Gabler asks if he thinks so

Sami says he thinks that's a very strong possibility

As Gabler stands right next to the idol.

Gabler says "I don't know, I looked all over man, and I found nothing" as he turned his head in the direction of the idol, but is looking down

Cody walks by the tree with the idol on it and leans on it.

Gabler says it's about how much energy

Cody says asks Gabler if he's exhausted

Gabler says yeah. It's probably a good idea to go. He's gonna go back there, do his beach swim...

Cody says yeah for him it's like how long does he sit here and search

Cody looks off to his left as he's talking, seems to miss the idol right next to his head, and sees it as he turns his head back, and puts his hand on it

Gabler says he's walked this whole thing four times

Cody (DR) says he's talking to Gabler and catching out of the corner of his eye, something the seem color as the tree trunk. At this point, he's thinking what does he do now? SO he just puts his hand up casually and waited for him to leave..

Cody says to himself yeah baby. He's sitting damn pretty. He doesn't know what it is but he's stoked.

Cody (DR) says he can't help himself. He does a shimmy shake dance, he's pretty stoked.

Idol Message: "Congratulations, you have found an advantage that could give you power in the game but only if you know your tribe members well. Here's how it works. For your next Immunity Challenge, you can bet on one player who you think has the best chance to win the challenge. This gives you two chances at immunity. You can win it yourself for correctly predict who does end up winning. If they win, you win.

You will write down the name before leaving for the challenge, then present this to Jeff at the challenge. To help you make your decision, the challenge is called "the last gap. Players will be in the ocean attempting to breathe in a metal gate as the tide rises.

Cody (DR) says we've all seen Survivor, we've all seen this challenge. It's scary, but for him. He's going, he lives in Hawaii, he loves the ocean, he's in all the time. He is the front runner on this, but he also has to think of his other players. After living on an island with people for 21 days, he should know who is comfortable in a panicked situation. She had to make the right decision here because it's a double shot at immunity and he can't blow it. He's feeling very good about it.

Cody writes down Owen's name

Cody (DR) says he's got a smile so big he can taste the earwax.

Immunity Challenge

Jeff says today's immunity is gonna test their ability to remain calm when everything else in their body says otherwise. They're gonna take a spot under a grated steel barrier. As the tide rises, their breathing room will decrease until ultimately there is no where else to breathe. The person who lasts the longest wins immunity. It guaranteed a spot in the final six. Losers, tribal council tonight where somebody will be voted out of this game. Their dream of winning Survivor 43 will come to an end.

Cody tells Jeff he found something in the jungle today and it's a present for him.

Jeff says this morning they all knew there was an advantage hidden. Cody found it. This is the Choose Your Champion advantage. What it means is Cody had the secret opportunity to select one of them to win this challenge which means if he doesn't win but the person he bet on, if they win, he is also safe. This is his secret to keep, which means, they won't know until Tribal, because they will not reveal this after the votes have been cast but before they are red. Huge advantage with seven people left in the game.

They draw for spots.

Gabler drops out first
Sami drops out second
Jesse drops out third
The remaining four reach the hour mark
Cody drops out fourth
The remaining three reach the 90 minute mark
They reach the 1h:52m mark
Cassidy drops out at two hours
Karla and Owen reach the 2h:20m mark
They reach 2:40m
Jeff says the tide is dropping, and without the tide, it's just s steel grate
The fact that they're both talking again and that the water is dropping, Survivor is making the unprecedented decision to end the challenge, both of them will win individual immunity. This challenge is over.

43 season, well over 20 years. They've done well over 1000 challenges, they've never had players outlast the challenge

Jeff says this has never happened. They both outlasted the challenge, they both deserve immunity.

Jeff sends them to their seats, and says Cody still has the Choose Your Champion advantage which will be revealed tonight after the vote, but before the votes are read, and then they have a whole bunch of scrambling back at camp.

Sami (DR) says final seven, two people are immune, and on top of all that, if his gut's telling him that Cody picked the right way, whcih he does think he did, there's 3 out of 7 players immune. It's terrifying because he's one of the four that's not immune. Now he thinks tha tthe target's on his back. And this is the lsat time he could play the shot in the dark, so if he has to play it he will play it at a game time decision.

Everyone's back at camp. Owen and Karla are discussing the challenge. Owen says it was like an out of body... Karla says it was like she became one with the water

Cassidy (DR) says this was a realyl hard moment for her. She doesn't know why this one got her. She thinks it's because she put so much effort in and she still came up short.

Owen comes over to talk to Cassidy and asks if she's upset.

Cassidy says yeah she's just really disappointed in herself.

Cassidy (DR) says it ended up being two people winning immunity today, and then potentially Cody beign safe as well. So that take sbasically three people off of the table tonight and leaves the other four pretty vulnerable.

Cassidy tells Owen she's so mad at herself.

Owen tells her to keep her chin up

CAssidy (DR) says Jesse's vulnerable. Gabler's vulnerable. Sami's vulnerable, and then she's vulnerable. So this is terrifying.

Cassidy asks Owen what he's thinking for tonight

Owen says he's thinking maybe Sami again. He feels like they can all get on board with that.

Cassidy (DR) says she's worried for herself because people she thinks are starting to see her and Karla as a pretty tight duo which is always dangerous in this game, and so she doesn't know. She thinks people might get her out just to knock Karla down a peg right now because she's safe. But she's hoping that at least tonight, they see Sami as a bigger threat than her.

Cassidy tells Karla she thinks Sami's just the obvious vote.

Karla says yeah, no, she agrees too. They've talked about this. It's the easiest.

Karla (DR) says this is the final seven. She thinks it's a make or break number. So she could do Sami today but she's kind of beating herself up about telling CAssidy about her idol. She could start telling anyone she wants. "Karla has an idol" and that would blow up her entire game.

CAssidy asks Karla if she thinks people are gonna try and come after her

Karla (DR) says her gameplan righ tnow as really bad as this sounds is to get her number one ally out of the game

Karla goes to Sami and says let's do Cass

Sami says really? Is this real?

Karla says yeah

Sami asks if this is serious

Karla says yeah. Cass

Sami (DR) says he hears Cass' name from Karla, which is music to his ears. This is what he wanted, but Karla and Cass have voted together the entire time.

Sami says the way she was with him yesterday, he appreciated that. That's it.

Karla says cool

Sami (DR) says he's gonna tread water lightly. He still thinks there's a very good chance the shot in the dark comes out of the bag and goes into play with him tonight.

Sami tells Cody it's Cass

Cody says interesting

Cody (DR) says for now to hear Cass' name has a nice little ring to it.

Cody tells Jesse his gut says Cass. Jesse says okay

Cody says that's who he wants out. Vote Cass. Karla's gotta be next.

Jesse says yeah

Gabler talks to Jesse

Gabler says if you look at the alliances right now, you'ev got Cassidy and Karla are tight. If they were gonna do anything, they'd go Cassidy now, Karla tomorrow

Jesse says yeah

Jesse (DR) says a lot of people are starting to lean toward just taking out Cassidy because Cass and Karla are this tight pair, and maybe he just needs to go with the flow

Jesse asks Karla what she's thinking

Karla says she's on board with Cass. She feels like Sami's easy for the nex tvote.

Jesse (DR) says but at this point, Karla wants to get rid of Cassidy

Jesse asks Karla if she's on board with Cass

Karla says mmhm

Jesse says okay

Jesse (DR) says the fact that Karla was on board sort of set alarm bells in his head because it just means that Karla doesn't see Cassidy as a key piece in her game

Jesse tells Karla he's also okay with Sami, but...

Karla says oh, no

Jesse says if she feels close to Sami then obviously let's not do Sami

Karla says no

Jesse (DR) says she's starting to build new bridges with Sami and Sami is a threat fo rother reasons. Sami is like this amazing fire magician. Nobody wants to go up against Sami on fire and nobody trusts him. He's kind of flip floppy, wishy washy, so maybe now's the time to take out Sami

Jesse tells Owen that Cody's pushing for Cass. He thinks Gabler's on board, and Karla is surprisingly on board

Owen says to vote Cass?

Jesse says to vote Cass

Owen says wow

Jesse says but what if they don't vote Cass, but they let Karla vote Cass?

Owen says ooh. To help drive a wedge?

Jesse says then they're going at each other's throats next time, and then they can count on Cass to vote Karla next time

Owen says hell yeah

Jesse says he doesn't want Sami to slip through

Owen says he 100% agrees

Jesse says he still doesn't get why people are leaving Owen out of the loop

Owen says it's been annoying

Jesse says but this is where it changes

Owen (DR) says he's okay with taking out Sami tonight but Jesse flipped on Dwight, he flipped on Noelle, he's stabbed him in the back before and as much as he likes the guy, he doesn't know if he can trust him

Jesse tells Owen he's gonna talk to Cody and try and get him to see

Owen says he'll talk to Gabler and try to do the same

Owen (DR) says voting correctly tonight is crucial to his game, but if he thinks it's gonna be that simple, he could be played for a fool once again

Jesse talks to Cody, and says what if instead of voting Cass, because honestly she's not a huge threat. What if they vote Sami out. Take him out so that they don't have to worry about the fire thing, and they don't fill Karla in so she's the only one that votes Cass, so that when they come back, they're at odds.

Cody (DR) says when Jesse pitched the idea of let's vote out Sami so we can put Karla on her own little island and make her look on the wrong side of the vote, it makes him think like something... and that's where him and Jesse get along so well, they think of other options. Because sometimes the clear cut one is not always the best ones

Jesse says he would rather make her look dumb than let her continue to be on the right side of the votes

Cody says yeah... whoo

Cody says lucky for him, Owen won the immunity challenge which means he's now immune, but in his mind, it's time for Cassidy to go. He thinks they need to split up Cassidy and Karla

Jesse says he doesn't trust Sami

Cody says he doesn't trust Cassidy. He gets it, Sami's a fire threat, but he's also a challenge loser. He's the first one out all the time. Cassidy's won immunity. SHe put up a good fight today

Cody (DR) says Jesse and him have been steering the Survivor bus, he thinks, since ht merge. But in this case, they are not seeing eye to eye. So they have to get on the same page. They started this game together and they're finishing this game together and making the right choice tonight would get them one step closer to the end.

Tribal Council

Jeff wants to talk about today's historic tribal challenge. Survivor has never had anybody outlast an entire high tide. As a result, Karla and Owen are both safe tonight, and they still have a question with Cody who found the Choose Your Champion advantage. If he bet on either Owen or Karla, then Cody is safe tonight as well. So there's a lot going on. And this afternoon, he was thinking about them all, after spending three hours watching that tide rise and fall. The thing about tides is they're never the same. They ebb and they flow, they're different every day. The only thing you can count on is there is a low tide and there is a high tide. And if you draw that analogy to Survivor, the only thing that matters every day is you gotta survive the high tide of Survivor.

Jeff asks Gabler what happens when they got back to camp

Gabler says it was big. When there's seven people left, it's always a magical time in Survivor history things happen. The fact that you have 1, 2, potentially 3 people out of the seevn that are immune, that was a lot of chaos back at camp.

Jeff asks Karla how that works. What are the rules of the group when it comes to having a conversation

Karla says they're so polite, you never know where that tide is going or how high or low it's going. CAuse everyone's open for business

Jeff tells Owen it's gotta be terrifying with no firm footing. Talk about a tide, he just (swaying), this is it all day every day with them all

Owen says yeah it's absolute madness, and it's ironic cause at the last Tribal he said "I feel okay Jeff, I feel fine" and then of course the plan that he thought was going to happen did not happen so seeing everyone talk and turn and twist and swap partners, it's a lot going on.

Jeff asks Sami what's going on, he was gesturing back there.

Sami says it's really hard because after the last vote he feels very so much on the bottom. And so it's hard because you don't get second chances this late into the game. All he can do is put himself out there as a free agent and everybody els eis deciding whether he is the guy that's at the end of his career who you don't really want to give a chance anymore or the guy who's at the end of his career who you give the one year contract because that guy can still produce for you a little bit and get you to the nex tvote

Jeff says to Jesse that's a pretty good pitch because that's Sami saying he can catch the ball a couple more times if you need him. That cna be valuable at seven

Jesse says yeah and that's why he thinks you have to constantly be open for business. That's why you have these conversations. That's why you have to consider everybody as a member of your team or a possible useful member of your team

Jeff says to Cassidy, the one thing you can count on with every other pplayer is what they're thinking about is this "How do I get to the end?". So when somebody comes to approach you with an idea, it's to help them get to the end, and the question is will it help you get to the end.

Cassidy says yeah and especialyl as they're getting closer and closer to this end game and you have to analyze every person, their strengths, their weaknesses, their moves, their threat level in the game. Do you feel like you can trust them for a vote if you need them. They're trying to see into the crystal ball of the future when it's really foggy right now.

Jeff says to Sami now you have the ticking clock on idols if they're in the game, advantages. Tonight's the last night you can use Shto in the Dark. How much does that ratchet up the tension?

Sami says it ratchets it up a lot. Advantages and idols have been the talk of the town around the season but yet they still have yet to see one played. It becomes paramount of you deciding, do you want a souvenir to take home? Or do you want to play the game all the way to play the game? Especially in terms of having an advantage or having an idol. He's gonna go up there and he's gonna play his shot in the dark tonight. At the end of the day, if the people who said they're with him today are actually with him, they should be fine, but if not, (we'll) see what happens.

Jeff says to Karla here's where those conversations where they asked each other to dance come into play because what he just heard Sami says was, don't count on his vote, and if everything is as it's supposed to be, his vote won't matter anyway.

Karla says it's... it's unfortunate, she thinks. She's never heard someone just say they're gonna play their shot in the dark

Sami asks her to explain how it's unfortunate. What's unfortunate about it.

Karla says the fact that people have told him to trust and then he's just saying screw his vote.

Sami says if what he was told today is what's going on, then it doesn't matter

Jeff says to Gabler when he hears Sami saying he's playing his shot in the dark, assuming he's telling the truth, does it change anything about his pulse, or is that just Survivor?

Gabler says no, he's gonna continue on with the way he believes it's gonna be when he came in here. He's sticking with the plan.

Jeff asks Jesse how about him

Jesse says no, he thinks this kind of gets back to something they said last Tribal where trust is currency out here. If you spend too much time checking if the bill somebody gave you is counterfeit then you go back to camp and nobody can trust you still

Sami says but, you gotta take risks in this game. You got to. Because if he sits back idly and gets lied to the way he lied to other people, that's not the way he wants to go out.

Time to vote

Cassidy first
Gabler second
Owen third
Karla fourth
Cody fifth
Jesse sixth
Sami seventh

Jeff says before they get to the votes, let's answer the question of the Choose Your Champion advantage. Who did Cody bet on to win today's challenge? If it was Owen or Karla, then Cody will be safe as well. Any votes cast against him will not count.

Cody bet on Owen. Predicted it correctly. Any votes for Cody will not count.

Jeff says if anybody has an advantage or an idol, and they want to play it, now would be the time to do so

Sami says Owen and Karla weren't the only ones in deep water today Jeff. He played the Shot in the Dark.

Jeff says Sami played the Shot in the Dark which means there is not a vote in the bin from him. If this says he is safe, any votes against him will not count. If it says not safe, then any votes cast against him will count.

Sami is not safe. Any votes cast against him will still count

Owen says there's only six of them left

Gabler says Sami went out in a ball of fire

Owen says he sure did. He would have expected nothing less

Owen (DR) says Tribal Council was exciting. Sami decided to play his shot in the dark and he ended up going home. He is a tad disappointed though because the plan going in was for Karla to vote for Cassidy to end up with some egg on her face. But Karla realized that voting for Cassidy would leave her exposed so she decided to flip her vote to Sami when he blew things up with his shot in the dark

Karla during her vote says "All you had to do was vote the right way ,and your ass would still be here"

Owen (DR) says his goal moving forward is to drive a wedge between Cassidy and Karla, just to reinforce that idea that Karla is dangerous, she's astute, and she needs to go.

Owen tells Cassidy he's so glad she made it.

Cassidy says she thinks she was a little worried that Cody would throw a vote on her

Owen says he thinks Karla would've taken a shot at her. That's what Sami was trying to tell him. He doesn't know if it's true or not.

Cassidy says ohhh. She thinks what Karla's trying to do is put the target off of her onto Cassidy.

Cassidy (DR) says from what she's hearing, Karla was actually targeting her last night. If that's the case, she's gonna be pretty pissed because her and Karla have been together since day one.

Cassidy asks Owen again if Karla said she was going to vote for her.

Owen says oh yeah.

Cassidy says wow.

Owen says that's what he heard. That's what Jesse was saying

Cassidy (DR) says this game is so tricky. She doesn't know if Owen's telling the truth. People are good liars out here. But she thinks she would be naive not to question it and see if Karla really was targeting her.

Cassidy talks to Karla and says she heard that she was coming for her.

Karla says she thinks that's crazy because, clearly she's been voting with her since day one.

Cassidy says and that would be a pretty big move to take out her number one ally.

Karla says but it wouldn't make sense for her. That would be stupid.

Karla (DR) says aw man. Cassidy was like "I think you're coming for me" and she was like what is (Cassidy) talking about, no she wasn't, but she was, and the truth is, she would like for her to go home

Karla tells Cassidy that she's never said her name. Ever.

Cassidy says okay

Karla says she doesn't know what to tell her, because that's the truth

Karla (DR) says she cannot say yeah, she was about to vote her out, because Cassidy's the only one that knows about her idol. But she's picking up that Cassidy's not buying it, so the only thing she could think of at that moment was cry. If this has to become a soap opera, she's ready for it. Let's make it a telenovela tonight.

Karla tells Cassidy that she's probably like she wants Karla to go home. Cassidy says no, she heard, because she heard that Karla was coming for her.

Karla says she's hurt that Cassidy would... sorry. She just feels like she's been so loyal to her. Karla tears up.

Cassidy says that's why she's hurt

Karla says she saved her twice. Ask Jesse. He'll tell her.

Karla talks to Jesse and says she was crying like she can't believe (Cassidy) would... it was so stupid. She needs an Emmy after that performance. She's over there by herself. She tells Jesse to say he saw her and Karla talking, and she seemed off.

Jesse (DR) says Cassidy is hearing things about Karla targeting her. So Karla told her to check with him, he'll verify that she was voting with her.

Jesse talks to Cassidy and tells her that everything that anybody's told her about Karla is true.

Cassidy asks if she was gonna write her name down

Jesse says she was gonna write her name down

Jesse (DR) says he wants the wreck. He wants that pay per view match. He wants those two to be targeting each other.

Cassidy says she can't believe that Karla just cried to her like that. So shady. Can't wait to get her out.

Cassidy (DR) says Karla's good. She laid it on so thick with the tears and everything, trying to convince her that she had been loyal to her since day one, but she feels like the bridge between her and Karla has pretty much been burned. She wants to get Karla out. She's coming for Karla.

Daily Challenge

Day 22, six players. Two from each original tribe.

They're gonna randomly divide into two teams of three. One player will be strapped inside a giant ball. They will guide their two blindfolded teammates through a long, winding course, to a table maze, where the player still strapped inside the ball, will guide the still blindfolded teammates as they race to solve that maze. First team to finish wins the reward.

The winning three will be taken to the sanctuary where good things happen. Waiting for them, iced coffee and iced tea. They need something to go with that, how about an array of pastry? Donuts, croissants, muffins.

Blue team
Owen strapped inside the ball
Cody and Karla blindfolded, pushing

Red
Cassidy strapped inside the ball
Jesse and Gabler blindfolded, pushing

Blue team gets to the maze first

Red team reaches the maze

Blue team wins the challenge, and a trip to the sanctuary.

Owen (DR) says now he's thrilled to go back to the sanctuary and talk to Cody and Karla to take the pulse of where their heads are at going into this pivotal final-six vote.

Cody says he has to be careful. They have six people left, and money makes people do funny things.

Cody says it's a very interesting time in the game, they are down to six.

Owen says they're really getting down to it.

Karla says yeah

Owen says it's wild since they all voted together last night.

Karla says yeah, where those lines are then gonna fall. She feels like she has a big target on her back. That's how she feels, to be completely honest with them.

Karla (DR) says she's a threat. She knows she's a threat. She won two immunity challenges. The rumor that she has an idol because she actually does have an idol, but she needs people to believe she doesn't have an idol. She'll do anything to keep that target off her back.

Karla says she feels like everyone is speculating about her. That she has something. That's the hardest part because she doesn't, and she feels like it's been ruining her game since the merge.

Cody says that sucks. You get that target on your back and you can't even defend it.

Karla says it's been a target every single vote.

Karla (DR) says once again she fake cries and kind of plays like she doesn't know what to do, she needs a lifeline, which is partly true. She's trying to see what can stick. If she can at least make it through one more vote, she thinks she's set. She can use her idol at the five.

Cody tells Owen he doesn't he doesn't think she has an idol

Owen says he feels like she would've played it by now if she did

Cody says he does too

Owen says she was in some pretty bleak looking spots

Cody says if she didn't, she's an even better player than he thought. She's very dangerous. They've been wanting to get the girls broken up for a long time. And to take this easy shot, now's the time to do it.

Owen says if Karla wins, they have Cassidy they can get rid of. He thinks they'll be alright.

Owen (DR) says Cody wants the boys to take out Karla or Cassidy, which works great for him because his goal is to get out Karla at this next vote.

Owen says he feels good.

Cody says he does too.

Owen says they have a good plan. Keep the boys safe.

Owen (DR) says Karla is very dangerous because she has the potential to win this game and for either of them to stand a chance, Karla has to go.

Cassidy talks with Jesse and Gabler back at the camp.

Cassidy says she's so over losing.

Gabler says he's found that in Survivor, every time you get kicked in the gut, there's some victory that comes out of this thing.

Gabler (DR) says the reward challenge today was bittersweet. Actually it was bitter, because they didn't get any sweet. But at this close to the end though, there's very strong players that need to get out of the way in order for him to win this game.

Gabler says they can talk about getting to final three, and it'd be great if the three of them could be down there. He thinks they all have three very different stories.

Jesse says he agrees

Gabler says because Cody may claim that his story is Jesse's story.

Jesse says yup

Gabler says and Karla will claim that her story is Cassidy's story

Cassidy says yup

Gabler (DR) says he planted the seed of get rid of Cody and Karla, and you know what's awesome, he doesn't think people see the game he's playing. The best assassin doesn't show up at the castle with an axe saying I"m here to kill the king. He or she slips into the kitchen, puts a vial of poison in the king's bowl and leaves.

Cassidy says they need to get Cody or Karla on this next vote

Gabler says he thinks that's a great idea

Gabler (DR) says he's hiding in plain sight. He is wearing some pretty impressive camo. Maybe that's it. He's just frozen in the tree. They just don't seem to see him. Which is fine.

Gabler says it's vote out Cody or Karla

Jesse says he started to worry that he has an idol

Cassidy says everyone scared he's gonna play his idol so they're not gonna waste time voting for him.

Gabler says nobody wants to be next Karla so Karla would be a safe bet.

Cassidy says she also has an idol

Gabler says probably or?

Cassidy says she definitely does

Gabler says okay, so she definitely does. Aha. So Karla may play hers tomorrow. Cody could play his. Ideally they could flush an idol and eliminate one of those two big threats.

Jesse says Cassidy saying that Karla has an idol just reaffirms that Gabler is right. Cody and Karla are sort of threats because they have these idols. They have these guaranteed paths into the final five.

Cody, Karla, and Owen return from the sanctuary.

Jesse says he does trust Cody. He's been keeping his idol in his bag, because he trusts Jesse. And he has Jeanine's old idol, which everybody thinks walked out the door with Dwight. So he and Cody are in a good spot whereas Karla is a huge threat which is awesome for him, and not that great for her.

Gabler tells Cody that Karla has an idol for sure.

Cody asks him who told him. Cass told him she has one?

Gabler nods

Cody asks if he trusts it, because Karla said she doesn't have it.

Gabler says if she plays her idol tomorrow...

Cody says he thinks he plays his if she plays hers. They split it between Cass and Karla

Gabler says then they can flush her idol

Cody (DR) says Karla has an immunity idol. It's absolutely preposterous because she's lied to him. This whole game she's been full of BS and now he can smell it.

Cody tells Gabler they can't let her win.

Gabler says anybody but Karla.

Cody says or Cass for that matter.

Cody (DR) says one of the four guys need to win the challenge. He just had 3000 calories of Danishes so that's gonna be huge for tomorrow for the challenge.

Cody tells Gabler he's good. Sharp right now. Like watch out. Good. Cody dances.

Cody (DR) says he's gonna be a tasmanian devil as he always is in there. He's gonna be having a great time.

Cody says knock out the girls, they're going to final five, and then they're going to final four, and he's gonna give them a kiss right on the cheek.

Cody (DR) says with six people left, if he wins tomorrow, he's in the final five with an immunity idol.

Immunity challenge

Day 23, Suvivor 43

Once again, immunity is back up for grabs. For today's challenge, they're gonna race through a series of obstacles. Collecting a bag of number tiles. They'll use those numbers to open a combination, releasing a key. They'll then race up a cargo net, and use that key to unlock their puzzle pieces. It is then a race to assemble a bat puzzle. First person to finish wins immunity. Guarantees a spot in the final five. Biggest stakes of the season. They'll draw for spots.

Cody gets to the combination stage first. Then Cassidy, Owen, Karla, Gabler, and Jesse.

Jesse finishes his combination first. Then Owen, Gabler, Cassidy, and Cody.

Karla finishes her combination and joins the rest at the puzzle.

Cassidy is in the lead on the puzzle

Karla talks to Jeff while he's talking, and says what's wild is that her hands get... because the nerves, they're all shot. It's just kind of like they're so numb, and it's kind of scary.

Karla says her hands are cramping, and she twists her ankle.

Cassidy asks if her puzzle is right. It's wrong.

Cassidy corrects it and wins immunity.

Karla (DR) says this immunity was a tough one to lose because her body literally gave up on her and she couldn't do anything. Now Cassidy's safe. She knows people are gunning for her, but she has an idol and it's showtime baby.

Back at camp

Gabler and Owen talk

Gabler says ay carumba.

Owen says it is kind of a bad scenario.

Gabler says two idols at play. And then they didn't get immunity. There's six people, that's three people. Like a three people shootout. Cody and Karla were open?

Owen says if they both play idols it could be himself, or Gabler, or Jesse that goes.

Gabler (DR) says it's pretty complicated righ tnow because Cassidy's got immunity. Karla has an idol. Cody has an idol. They're probably gonna play them tonight. At this point in the game there's no more shot in the dark. So him, Owen or Jesse will tap out. Tonight is his biggest hurdle.

Cody tells Karla that he has an idol.

Karla tells Cody that she has an idol.

Cody asks if she wants to go to the final four with him.

Karla says she does.

Cody says here's how. Him, her and Jesse are three. Jesse will be in on this. He's gonna tell Cassidy he's playing his idol. He's gonna tell the other two guys he's playing his idol, and then she can just tell them that she's playing her idol, but neither one of them play their idols. They vote for Gabler or Owen.

Karla says okay.

Cody says and they both keep their idols.

Karla says she loves a threat. If he doesn't vote their way, they could easily just vote him out.

Cody says exactly.

Karla tells Cody he's such a bright man

Karla (DR) says this could work. Let's not go after each other, if let's work together and threaten people that they're gonna use their idols and then they keep their idols and go to the five with their idols and guarantee their spots in the four. And so now, Cody, Jesse, and her ultimately can decide who goes home. Gabler or Owen.

Karla tells Gabler that she has an idol. Cody's playing his and she's playing hers. If he wants to stay, would he vote Owen?

Gabler says he would.

Karla says 100%? To satay in the game.

Gabler says if that's where they're going, then he has to do it.

Karla (DR) says when you put people at risk it's fascinating to see how quickly people will turn on their own alliance

Owen tells Karla if push comes to shove she's willing to write Gabler's name down.

Karla tells Cassidy homeboy's gonna play it, she's gonna play it. That's the way the cards are rolling

Karla (DR) says it's a scare tactic. And it's fullproof too though. If they get a bad vibe, they can still use their idol. She'll use her idol. Cody will use his idol. They'll just duke it out at the five without idols. Btu as long as this works out, you'll see her at the final four.

Cody tells Owen this is how they get Karla out tonight.

Owen says okay

Cody says he said to her, they flex against Owen or Gabler and tell them, they've got idols, they're playing them.

Owen says she thinks her and Cody are gonna work together and do this idol bluff thing

Cody says she's gonna buy it, and wham, they knock her right out of this game

Owen says and she won't see it coming at all

Cody says she won't see it coming

Owen says love it

Cody says so they just can't let her get grift that they're gonna go together.

Cody (DR) says he's stretching the truth to Karla. You know what? to hell with it. He's lying to Karla. He's lying to her so she doesn't play her idol tonight so that way he can blindside the hell out of her. Genius is the word for this plan. He's been out here for 23 days. He's a quickl learner, and he's learned very fast like asponge and he's out here as wild thing killer Cody, cowboy Cody, call him whatever you want, but this week's definitely turned and yeah sometimes he surprises even himself.

Cody and Gabler talk

Gabler asks Cody who he wants him to shoot at tonight

Cody says Karla

Jesse says the four amigos of Owen, Gabler, Cody, and Jesse are all gonna vote Karla, and she's gonna leave Tribal with a walking stick that he made her and an idol.

Jesse tells Cody beautiful plan.

Cody says he learned from one of the best.

Cody (DR) says Jesse is on board. He loves that guy, he's his road dog. Their trust and their relationship has gotten so forged it's unbelievable.

Cody says they've got one big move to execute here.

Jesse says then they're good. They've got a path to the end.

Jesse (DR) says you know Cody's plan is great for him, but taking out Karla, the biggest threat in the game would absolutely boost his resume.

Cody tells Jesse they're sitting in that final three together.

Jesse says yes sir. This is gonna be amazing.

Jesse (DR) says they're at six now, and he can't be seen as Cody's number two, and they just see it that he's just made the same moves as Cody, who's a little bit louder. It might be time to be just openly cutthroat, but then at the same time, he doesn't know, there's a lot to think about. He loves Cody and he thinks Cody would take him to the end, but he has to wonder if he can beat him. He's got two kids at home. He's got a wife and people are out here and they're saying "this is so much fun right?" Like "no matter what, we've already won". You know, they want the million but they seem like this is all about the experience. For him, no, the experience is great, but for him, he needs to secure his family's future, and like... he'll do anything to do that. He'll do anything, so if he has to switch it up and be more brutal, he will.

Jesse talks to Owen and says this is trust.

Owen says it is.

Jesse says Cody doesn't have his idol.

Jesse says he has it.

Owen says ohhh...

Jesse says Cody gave it to him

Jesse says what if they vote Cody

Owen says yeah

Jesse says he'll play the idol tonight. As soon as he plays it.

Owen says Karla's gonna play hers

Jesse says she's gonna get spooked. And she'll play hers. So both idols will go. Cody will go and they can take out Karla next week.

Owen says really great

Jesse (DR) says right now he's sort of in the driver's seat of the idol. Cody thinks he has it locked in. He doesn't have it locked in.

Cody tells Jesse they've got em right where they want em.

Jesse says yes sir.

Owen tells Cassidy that Jesse has Cody's idol

Cassidy says she can't believe it

Owen says he knows. He doesn't know how on Earth.

Cassidy says Jesse working the magic.

Cassidy (DR) says for Cody to be without an idol, that is so beautiful because he's unprotected. They don't know for sure if Karla's gonna play her idol or not yet, so they're throwing all their votes on Cody.

Cody tells Karla he can show her his idol, and asks if she wants to see it.

Karla says actually she does. She wants to see what hers looks like

Cassidy (DR) says she just wants to lock it down so nothing gets screwed up.

Cassidy and Owen tell Gabler the vote is Cody.

Gabler says okay, and wipes sweat

Cody tells Jesse to grab his idol for him and he's gonna show her he's got it just to give her that peace of mind

Jesse says he doesn't know if that's a good idea

Cody says they're good

Jesse (DR) grunts in frustration and says yep, there we are. He didn't want to push back because then that would make him nervous so he had to hand off the idol, and he almost made it, he was trying to (grunts)

Jesse tells Cassidy and Owen he had to give the idol back so that Cody could trust him

Cassidy says wait he has it?

Jesse says he's gonna get it back

Cassidy says they're running out of time

Jesse says if he can't get the idol back, the plan will change just because it's out of his control.

Jesse asks Cody if he's had a chance to show Karla yet

Cody says no

Jesse (DR) says and then Karla has an idol and... (grunts)... just a mess

Owen tells Jesse worst case scenario is Cody doesn't give itback

Owen (DR) says this is worst case scenario. It's so unbelievable that he can almost believe it. For some reason, Jesse gave it back to Cody

Cody shows Karla his idol.

Karla says their very different actually

Cody says he and her are real good.

Cody (DR) says his plan with Karla is foolproof. 100% foolproof. If she gets spooked and plays her idol. Completely fine. He's still safe with his idol.

Owen (DR) says if both Cody and Karla play their idols, himself, Jesse or Gabler could go home with just one vote

Gabler (DR) says the gloves are off now. There's no more niceties. It's a deathmatch to get to the end.

Cassidy (DR) says to go to this crazy tribal tonight with this protection on, it's absolutely vital.

Cody (DR) says tonight's blindside will be the biggest of the season for sure, no doubt about it.

Owen (DR) says what could go wrong in Survivor in the final six? Just a million different things.

Tribal Council

Jeff says let's start with today. They obviously know how it ended. Cassidy has a necklace. Another individual immunity win. But it wasn't easy. Karla was close to having a real shot at winning and her entire body seized up. How is she right now?

Karla says she's physically exhausted. She still feels tingly all over her hands. Tired. Her ankle hurts. It's swollen. They're out of rice. They have a few coconuts, and the heat, so it's been a long afternoon.

Jeff says the other big story of that challenge is that Cody lost by seconds.

Cody says yeah it's a real bummer. He doesn't know another way to summarize it. To be seconds away from wearing that necklace is a couple seconds away from being there in a completely different emotional state of mind.

Jeff says to Jesse the other side of this is now they have to go back to camp and try to strategize when there are only five choices

Jesse says yeah, Cassidy's safe, and the two of them are also safe, Karla and Cody, so...

Jeff asks why they're also safe

Jesse said they kind of made it known that they're gonna be playing their idols tonight.

Jeff asks Karla what the rationale was for saying A, she has an idol, and B she's playing it tonight.

Karla says she feels like rumors of her having an idol, clearly they're true, have been making her a target, and this is the only way she can guarantee her safety tonight.

Jeff asks Cody what the rationale was for him. Was it fear that he didn't win and he thinks he's a target?

Cody says yeah. He's gonna give himself a shot to live to see another day. It's either today or tomorrow that he plays it, so it's a pretty easy decision for him. He doesn't see any reason that he wouldn't go that route

Noelle whispers on the side "Ten bucks says not one idol is played."

Jeff asks Owen what he does when he takes all this in at camp and he thinks it's either him, Jesse, or Gabler.

Owen says you have to go and just make your pitch and just hope somethign sticks, but it's really crappy knowing that someone with a necklace, two people with idols, it could just take one vote to send one of the three of them home, and that's a different pill to swallow than getting votedout 7-2 or something like that. It's tough.

Jeff says to Jesse that it's also a bit of gambling. If they have idols and those idols are good until five, they could wait. This could be a bluff as well.

Jesse says yeah, it could be but he doesn't feel like he's in a position to sort of call their bluff at this point. They talked about the social contract that's been in place. You have to be like "alright, tell me which moves to make, and I'll make em, and we'll just go along" so

Jeff says to Cody that's a big move if that's what he's doing. Two people saying they're the royalty and they're gonna tell them what the rules are. They're not going home and it's one of them three, and they're gonna decide. Is that how he looks at it?

Cody says absolutely. He'd be lying if he said he didn't talk to Karla about it. "Hey, who are we looking at" And it could just be one that decides the fate of someone tonight and as tragic as it sounds, it's not him

Jeff says to Karla that Cody was just really honest. He said that it's tragic, but it won't be for him. Does she feel similar?

Karla says yeah, luckily she does have something to protect her tonight so it is unfortunate but she feels confident and she hopes that folks that she spoke to today feel confident.

Jeff asks Gabler how confident he is that what he was told was gonna happen is going to happen tonight

Gabler says he's pretty confident. He thinks he's gonna see tomorrow. Twelve hours difference in Survivor is a world of difference and this afternoon was an apex predator buffet and they were serving up whatever they were needing just to see if they could sail to tomorrow

Jeff says to Jesse he was nodding in agreement

Jesse says yeah he's not trying to make too many big moves, he's just like you fill him in, let him know what's going on

Noelle and Sami look on with skepticism

Jesse says as vulnerable as he felt today, he hopes that he landed on the right move

Jeff asks Owen

Owen says he was peddling in the book of Sandra today. Anybody but him. He's been in tough spots before in this game and he's not gonna count himself out but he'd be lying if he said he felt super duper confident in his chances, but he's not counting himself out just quite yet.

Jeff asks Cody how confident he is that the vote is gonna go the way he thinks it will.

Cody says he'll give it a 9er. He's pretty confident. He thinks he's the person that people were wanting to talk to and they were giving him the best pitch and, yeah, 9 and a half actually, is where he's at.

Jeff says pretty good.

Cody says yeah pretty good, he thinks that's where he's at on this. 95%.

Time to vote
Cody's up
Cassidy
Gabler
Karla votes for Owen

Noelle says Karla looks like her

Jesse votes

Jeff says if anybody has an advantage or an idol and they want to play it, now would be the time to do so

Jesse raises his hands

Jesse says he thinks a couple of them took a look at the social contract. They decided to call people's bluffs. So, he's playing this for Owen.

Cody says he doesn't know what Jesse's doing.

Jeff says this is a hidden immunity idol. Any votes cast for Owen will not count.

Karla says she'll play hers. She's gonna play it for herself.

Jeff says this is also a hidden immunity idol. Any votes cast for Karla will not count.

Karla shakes her head

Jeff reads the votes

Cody says to Jesse "really bro?"

Jesse says he'll explain more

First vote, Owen. Does not count
Karla, does not count
Cody. One vote Cody
Cody. Two votes Cody

Thirteenth person voted out of Survivor 43. Cody.

Cody says wow

Jeff says that's enough he needs to bring him his torch.

Jeanine and Noelle whisper on the bench that Jesse did it

Karla shakes her head

Jesse gets up and puts his hand out to Cody

Cody shakes his hand and they hug

Jesse says he'll explain more

Cody says there's nothing to explain

Cody gives handshakes and hugs to the others and says good playing.

Cody says A hui hou, and Aloha

Jeff says they've made it to the final five, but this game is far from over. Tonight they'll be taken to a new beach where they will start over. This is the beginning of the final push to get to the end. Dig in, and hang on. Grab their torches and head back to their new camp. Goodnight.

Cody says his heart is crushed. It is freaking crushed. He can't believe this just happened. His main man Jesse completely backstabbed him and it's a damn good play. He can't fault him on that, he should've known better. He's gonna continue to have the time of his life. He'll keep trucking. He's gonna keep smiling but f*** you Jesse. F*** you. (laughs)
