The NBA Board of Governors pass anti-tanking measures 29-1, that will go into effect next year, per Shams Charania

16 teams, 8 from each conference, will now be eligible for the draft lottery

Teams that don't qualify for the playoffs or play-in will have flattened odds in the draft lottery

The bottom 3 teams will receive 2 lottery balls, teams 4-10 will receive 3 lottery balls, and the play-in teams will receive 1-2 lottery balls.

Teams won't be allowed to pick #1 in consecutive drafts, and teams also won't be allowed to pick in the top 5 in 3 consecutive drafts
